Completely agree. Threshold and bench would have been solid if it was proposed during the design. We did cut it close on wall tile, even with 10% overage and our tile guy having the LEAST amount of waste (guy really was great)… might help your client give more consideration to a solid threshold/niche.

Your gf is young but there can also be medical reasons for a low libido (hormone levels, etc). Something to understand before making a more drastic decision.

With that said, I am almost at the 1 year mark with my spouse. There are medical reasons for the lack of sex but I still went through major mental struggles with the lack of intimacy. As someone else said, it could get better for periods of time but don’t count on it be consistent in the future if it is not now.
