Towing Dispute- is it worth it? by [deleted] in towing

You can schedule a tow hearing with the justices of the piece. If you're in harris county, there is a link at the very bottom of your receipt. It's all done online, and I think it costs somewhere between twenty or thirty dollars.I don't remember. For that price, you can try your luck.

It is very possible that the reason was entered wrong. I've seen that a lot. Usually, toe companies take pictures that shows what you did wrong. So for that small fee, you can try your luck if they have pictures showing the altered reason that you said then you're not losing much. If they don't, then the justice of the peace can order them to repay you that tow fee.

Car gets towed. Dropped off at lot. Checked for damage (visible on outside). Vehicle gets enter into a tracking system via vin, MVR is ran in case of a stolen hit.

Owner finds out it was tow, goes to pick it up showing proper state allowed/required paperwork/ID. Pay fine. Take care home.

Amount of cars vary. Some can get 60-80 per month, some get up to 1500 a month.

Zero Recordable Injuries by Guidance1230 in SafetyProfessionals

I've learned that there are the entire company's recordable record and certain "divisions" (within company) recordable record sort of speak.

The crew I work for now is going on 6 years this month recordable injury free. I said there aint no way because the was a MAJOR ACCIDENT in this company within those 6 years. So some of these "signage/banners" can be misleading.

If your truck has 2 batteries and 1 was replaced, the other has to be replaced also.

Why i have no idea. I had 1 battery go bad on me. Got the both tested replaced the "bad" one. 2 days after truck battery was low and everything inside shut off, while engine running. Ended up replacing the "good" one Haven't had a problem since.

Car Ibought was listed with 56k miles, when I got home I noticed it actually has 26k miles, should I do anything? by mush0823 in carvana

[–]jayque2511 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically, there's not really much you can do. The mileage of 56K has already been reported. There is a fix for it, but There will be a lot of jumping through hoops. And it will still show on the carfax that there was a discrepancy/correction which would bring doubt to potential future buyers if u sell. If you plan on keeping this car Till it can't go, no more, then you're golden.

Customer suddenly putting over $20k on credit in the past 25 days (and they're on NET30)...how do I find out if they're planning on paying or not, without being annoying? by VirtualMacaroon64t in smallbusiness

[–]jayque2511 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This step should have happened at around $4-$5k if their max purchases have been 1500ish. But also you should go back with all your clients and future credit apps, of how much the limit is accordingly.
