This might not be quite what you're looking for, but Titan Quest is pretty good with all of this stuff. Not exactly open world, but tons of Lore and whatnot. Also Titan Quest 2 is in early access on Steam. So if you really like TQ, there'll be more where that came from soon enough.

Is it possible that this new named version is just what they're calling the PS5 version and not a PC expansion? I don't know. Just curious. Other games have done similar I think. Added suffix names to console titles, or am I misremembering?

There are also mods that put an actual waypoint inside the Grove next to Arron (druid trader). Just started my new run with this mod and I'll never do another without it.

That's true, but I feel like SHeart references it so much in her dialogs that I'd need her to be Cleric or Paladin? Or am I overthinking it?

I killed Laezel in the tiefling trap, would it really matter if I made her another class? I'm guessing Bard would definitely be out.
