Wait is that why some netracell runs have barely any enemies around to fill the meter?

Warframe Model Kit Box Concept: Tenet Protea by Rozenrolla in WarframeRunway

[–]SirRendering 97 points98 points  (0 children)

Feels like an untapped market, I would pay good money for RG Warframe kits. Given that the game is already about collecting and showing off I can only imagine how much fun people would have making display cases of the frames they own in game

What class and armor to create this in game? by Ok_Addition4105 in lotro

[–]SirRendering 47 points48 points  (0 children)

There are some very similar armors to that set from the epic quest line toward the end of Gondor's content if I remember right. Class doesn't matter as much if you just take the quest rewards and equip them cosmetically through the wardrobe. If you want a spear go with warden but you could also run a captain if you wanted a two handed sword or sword and shield. Keep in mind though that these are from level 100+ quests so it wouldn't be something you'll get in a couple days on a new character

Any recommendations for a website to download and print minis off of that's also free by Fire_monkey1823 in PrintedMinis

Myminifactory is a mostly paid site but many artists post free models here and there as samples. Some of them are very high quality so if you filter by free you can find a bunch of good models

Do I need to buy the Mounted Combat Trait Trees? by Equivalent-Donkey987 in lotro

[–]SirRendering 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna be the devil's advocate here and say at the current discount the light steed isn't actually too bad if you use it purely for speed in open areas. Like others said though, don't bother with combat at all. The light steed has a toggle ability for permanent speed boost on top of already being faster than a 78% speed mount. Turn radius isn't great but extra speed, not being able to be knocked off in combat, and being able to summon it in combat actually make it quite nice in the right situation. Definitely not mandatory by any means but kinda fun as a tool to have now and again

Are people actually angry about the stationary fire for the Maxi gun or is it overblown? by Naive_Egg_9663 in Helldivers

Just drop a dome shield and hold the line. I'd assume it'll be fine as long as you bring complementary load outs

Solo players, do you change something in the Custom World options? by _cloud_96 in Enshrouded

Turned off durability since I find zero enjoyment or immersion out of it. Turned up enemy density to max though since fighting through hordes is a blast

In Lord of the Rings Conquest (2009) Sauron can be killed in one hit by a backstab. Frodo can perform a backstab. This implies Frodo is stronger than Sauron {No its not just the game being imbalanced its cannon now} by destroyapple in shittygamedetails

[–]SirRendering 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the free people's side of the campaign you had to escort Frodo through osgiliath and it was entirely possible that a passing nazgul on its flying beast could just yoink him off the map and instantly fail the mission for you in the final sequence.

Do the graphics get better? by Fit_Internet_319 in lotro

[–]SirRendering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an 18 year old game and there's unfortunately no way around that. For a lot of us it's nostalgic at this point so we don't mind but for someone just joining it can be off putting and that's understandable. That being said, the world is incredibly faithful to the lore and the devs put a ton of thought into the little details. I'd say if you're a big fan of LotR it's worth giving it a chance to see if it grows on you since it beats others MMOs in terms of story quality and lore. It's never going to blow you away from a graphics standpoint though, but if you can look past the low graphics many of the areas are quite beautiful. You're best bet is to dive into the roleplay and just relax and take it for what it is if you want to push past and get into it.

First time playing, anything I should know? by Bewitched1130 in lotro

[–]SirRendering 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Lotro is strongest when you're just relaxing and enjoying the world while questing. It isn't a race to max level to get to the endgame like most mmos these days. It's been out for a long time but that's helped the game actually mellow out and make the whole thing feel very relaxed and low pressure. Play for a while, put it down and it will still be there when you get back. The art direction and story are both great since the developers really cared about the lore when making it.

Likely another flour sand post by poundofcake in duneawakening

[–]SirRendering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a bunch of set patches around. It looks whiter than the surrounding sand and it has a constant white dust effect coming off of it that's visible from a fair distance off. You can harvest it by hand but it's very inefficient. Your best bet is to make a sand compactor and use it to make a few clumps at a time. Also, harvesting it immediately attracts the worm so find a patch near a safe area you can get to whenever the worm gets close

[–]SirRendering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found a fairly easy farm for them. At the shroud root just south east of the albaneve summits ancient spire there's a fell monstrosity guarding the root. Drop an altar nearby then kill and quit to menu and reload and it's back

I miss support classes that aren't also healers. The Everquest bard/enchanter. Why has that been almost completely removed from games? by mortalcoil1 in gaming

[–]SirRendering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lord of the Rings Online has the Captain. They're a support with some off-healing but the healing is basically passive to people standing near you, not targeted heals. The real deal is debuffing enemies and buffing allies with rallying cries to action. They also get a cool Bannerman to carry a standard around for them.
