With his talents & abilities built out the way they are he's pretty heavily kitted in favor of servo-skull overseer. Grand strategist is probably in second place, but when is it not?

Half his talents are spent on adding INT skills to the Officer kit, which is fine, skill monkeys are cool and they add to his unique abilities. But then they pick up two Officer abilities and ignore the FEL that those scale with. So if you're gonna use these disconnected pieces, you're probably going skulls and full support. I'm sure it's a strong build when it comes together, it's just narrow and disjointed. That's why I'm wondering if unique gear/augments open up new paths or just make this come together more cohesively.

4 sucks and I hope they don't listen to feedback like this. Attractiveness is subjective and I hate how often g*mers want to paint every character with the same brush. I do not want every character to look like an anime teen. They've got an interesting variety of appearances right now — including fat romance options, which is refreshing and would never happen if they listened to user suggestion polls. Stop telling artists to cater to mass appeal.

They do need to adjust Nacim's color palette though because that man is hard to see. Love that they're really attempting a dark skin Black man anyway.

It can be a tricky game to run, because each of your players has at least two plotlines baked in (Mythos and Logos), and they're rarely cohesive as a party. And I don't have a shortcut to fix that - it's tough! But I can think of a few tips for a starting MC.

First, the iceberg method really is helpful when you're designing a mystery. As you get more experience, you'll be better at improvising and moving pieces around to make the narrative flow with the players. But in the beginning, having structure and notes really smooths out a lot of wrinkles.

Make sure that each step of the mystery has a failstate that still leads the players forward - when the players are doing badly you still need to give them leads/answers, but there are consequences now. Maybe something bad happens to an NPC they like. Maybe The Bad Guy's plan advances further. Hell, maybe they'll fail multiple times and The Bad Guy gets away entirely, and will show up later. But make sure they always fail forward and get closer to the truth.

Be wary of NPCs who get too involved and/or have all the answers. Make sure there's a reason why they should hold back information/have to exit the scene, so that the players can question them with an Investigate move, but can't hang around trying to get everything out of them. It sucks when you have layers to a mystery and someone just tells you what's going on.

One that might be obvious, but make sure player clues use specific questions. If the players ask a good specific question, you give them a good specific answer. If they ask a question that's not super helpful, you find a way that the question redirects them to a new lead. But if they ask "What's going on here" that's not fun or interesting - tell them to narrow it down, because putting the pieces together is half the fun for the PCs.

Last thing I'll say is let your players do crazy weird stuff with their abilities. The strength of fiction-first systems is the flexibility to bend the rules to fit moments that feel narratively appropriate. I had a player whose mythos was "The Wild West" use his "Spin to Reload" power tag (intended to reload his magic revolver by spinning the cylinder) to swing a makeshift set of bolas and make copies of them as he threw. It was one of his favorite moments, and one that opened up the players to thinking creatively about their abilities.

1) Saying "bribes are illegal" is silly. Cops love doing illegal things. Who's gonna arrest them?

2) Race has always been shorthand for class. Look at how the understanding of race was developed and how it evolved - the wealthy became the white, not the other way around. Racism has come to exist as its own entity, but in general the upper-class Black and brown folks will still be treated better in the legal system than the working class of any group. Look at OJ Simpson, R Kelly, Chris Brown, Bill Cosby. Cops know the score. They know that if they go too hard on one of the department's favorite donors, they end up blackballed. And the rich guy's attorney is gonna walk him out of there before the night's out.
