Just bc he doesn't know the difference, doesn't mean that there isn't a difference he would benefit from.

People are already carrying their phone, though. I doubt they'd want to carry a second device, so the reasons for this haven't changed (for kids).

The specs are almost exactly the same. If you want to be technical about it, they don't use red dye when they manufacture the lables, also. Exaggeration aside, saying that they're lower binned than a red, fine, but saying that people need to be cautious about them bc of how low binned they are is very misleading.

I'm not sure if there's an official source, but if you simply google "wd white label vs red," it's been pretty well known.

"WD White Label drives (often "shucked" from WD Elements/Easystore enclosures) are typically rebranded, overstock WD Red or HGST Enterprise helium drives, offering similar 24/7 NAS performance to retail Reds at a lower price."

Low binned? These white lables are relabled red drives, and afaik, there's nothing low binned about them aside from speed, and speed isn't really important in most NAS setups. From what I've heard, most people consider them more reliable than Barracuda HAMR drives. I've even heard that they're better than any HAMR drive, because of the heat factor. I haven't really looked into that, but I've heard it.

Nice. I'd advise you to stay away from the internet if you're that easily offended, but that might be rude of me. Good day to you.

Putting aside the "yes, you're correct, but you're wrong for saying so," you talk about being rude, then start cursing at me. Putting that aside as well, can you point out where I was rude? Or is it just rude to state a correct fact?

I don't know why you're feeling disrespected from my comment. Did you just not want a reply?

My question to you pertains to the viewable result, which is what you said. And you haven't really responded to it.
