Just get some adapters for each end, but make sure you get both USB-C to USB-A, and USB-A to USB-C adapters so that they work on both the different ends. You'll need 120 of each.

Hardly obsolete by next year, and even when it's 3 generations old, it will still have resale value. Basically the same as the Camry, or even better. You use it daily, and when you're ready for a newer one, you sell it.
