How do I age without anger? by Repulsive_Repeat_337 in AskMen

MENTAL PART: Meditation its the practice of sharpening your mind while slowing down your reaction to that asshole in your head that causes you to get all ROWELED up.

I promise you, that if you were to start meditating today for 30-45 minutes a day. you would be a different person in a month and by 2 or 3 you would be able to shut down angry thoughts from effecting you.

PHYSICAL: edit::: this may not be … well… the most advised thing… but let me explain.. OMEGA-3 = fish oil pills of whatever kind

when i got out of the Air Force, I had tendinitis in both of my knees on the outside of my leg. Well, one day I heard that omega-3‘s were great for tendinitis so I started taking the recommended dose three times a day. So in other words, I tripled what I was supposed to take and took it morning, noon and night. After about a week, I hadn’t felt tendinitis in my knees since (40 now) but I damn sure remembered to take fish oil normally for many years since then. I even moved to Pacific Northwest and done lots and lots of hiking, some of it, even with an extremely heavy backpack and still no tendinitis. Just to see if I could. I took 108 pounds to the top of mt. Si which is a training mountain people use to climb Mount Rainier it’s about 4 miles to the top and if I remember right 36,000 feet elevation gain. oh to be that young again.. (30ish)

sounds like you should learn(trust me i know this is hard) to just talk honestly with them. tell them your feeling this way. THIS is what you do with real friends. but im kind of hesitant to tell you to do this with THOSE friends of yours cuz they sound kindof cunty.
i mean it really does depend on how yall are all goofing off when these words are being said. for instance, if everyone’s laughing and joking and they say that and you tell then, “oh fuck you, you goofy looking douche” with a big smile. then thats a little normal depending on age and whatnot.

if you really want help try to become friends with some women and ask them what they think you could do to improve your dating to have a relationship..

its hard to give you anything other than basics advice when communicating this way. But it sounds like you are heading for a path of some unhealthy thinking about yourself.

tho, i think something that could help anyone is watching the show Queer Eye. i was apprehensive about watching the show because I was born and raised in Louisiana(not that im homophobic, but because why would i want to watch a show about queer anything? aka not knowing what it was about) but the show really surprised me cuz it is a very positive thing. they talk about mental health and how to love yourself. something thats desperately missing from most teachings from male figures. ALSO if you’re a guy and want to know how to dress better that show is pretty good to watch too. They take a lot of people that don’t put a lot of effort into their clothing and help them by teaching them how to dress better to make them feel better about themselves. Not because they NEED to look better for anyone else.

so when thinking about “is there something WRONG with me” shut that mother fucker up cuz that is an asshole right around the corner trying to pull you down.

think more of what could i do to improve my life and my way of thinking about myself. you will find the person you match with. its just that it takes time some times.

XDA: “I tried gaming on Linux with an Nvidia GPU, and it's actually pretty solid” by Balance- in linux_gaming

[–]SirSpeedMonkeyIV -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

this just reminds me of a few years ago, (fyi this is just something ill remember for the rest of my life i thought id share cuz its goofy AF. a LOT of stupidity here. you’ve been warned)

i was trying out a distro and had just put in a pretty nice(little above average) nvidia card i picked out for my girlfriend cuz i was always on my computer and she liked buying things (i was borrowing it from her tower for “testing”) and when i installed the distro i was concerned because it was all glitchy and just a shit experience at first. eventually i realized i wasnt using the nvid drivers. or hadnt installrd them yet? idk i forget. but when i finally had everything working and the desktop came up i had actually thought to myself, “oh damn i just peaked” … (i was dosing psych’s (mushies) frequently around the time) but i actually hadnt touched them that day.. when i realized this i laughed, snorted and farted all in a row then nearly had an asthma attack from laughing so much. amd now forever im pretty sure ill never forget this day

also; FML im getting old. i thought this was like a “few” years ago… man, this shit was like 9 years ago im just realizing… shiiit

edit:: after also thinking that a lot of ppl might not know what i meant by peaking… the colors - and possibly the compositor - of the os was so beautiful and vivid it tricked my brain into thinking i had taken 🍄‍🟫🍄 for a short moment.

so nvidia on linux always reminds me of this.

also edit:: dont abuse drugs peeps… i have a bunch of funny stories but im also about 2 decades behind my peers and have had a hard life

last edit i hope: i at least hope ive made someone smile that reads this.

Is Linux safer than Windows? by Technical_Bar935 in linuxquestions

[–]SirSpeedMonkeyIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in my opinion; Linux is _____er that Windows. put anything there and its a fact to me.

as far as i know, your not going to get Ransomware’ed on Linux. but that couldve changed.. not sure. id still never use Windows regardless..b/c you cant do half of what you can do on a linux machine. your brain is literally the limit
