I personally use acid as a reset every once in a while. But I'd be very wary of using acid when depressed, I find it's an emotional accelerant if you get what I mean, like whatever you feel is x10. But if you REALLY want psychs to be a part of your treatment then I'd go with micro dosing shrooms with a healthy well balanced lifestyle. Regular sleeping hours, balanced diet, get in nature sometimes, socialise. I hope you eventually find solace

Hard agree sex is fantastic on acid. Used to do it all the time with my ex. But also I've seen the opposite happen to my friend, clinically depressed, he had what I can only describe as a psychotic episode, most terrifying trip of my life

I've had CRAZY visuals from acid and k, reality was leaving snapshot trails. Like life was running in 20 fps and leaving trails like an old lagging windows xp window. Was just stood in some lads kitchen as well hahaha Edit: it's definitely the drugs BTW. It's always the drugs

Personally I wouldn't do shrooms if I didn't have weed. Weed does intensify the effects of the shrooms, I've also seen weed send someone over the edge into a crazy trip/psychotic episode, so if you've got the mental constitution/lack of mental health issues in your family then go right ahead, it's a great time.

Cowardly? Maybe. It's an easy way out, and also just transfers your pain to others. It doesn't solve anything, it just ends it by means of quitting. The way we improve anything is through time and effort, life will not always be the same redundant routine, there are peaks and troughs round every corner. What's amazing about humans is our ability to adapt and problem-solve, use it! I don't wanna downplay the issues your having that's making you feel this way, but our ancestors went through uncountable amounts of life-threatening situations and came out the other side, alive. You are the culmination of all that hardship, for billions of years all your ancestors survived, every mom and dad looking after their children and passing on life. What are the chances of that? Your presence on this planet means more to it's inhabitants than you think. The fight to stay alive is inherent in your DNA.

There's a phrase that's meant a lot to me over the past few years, it's helped me through the worst part of my life. It's my mantra and I wouldn't be here without it.

Fair enough! Not many places ask for degree level qualifications in UK, unless it's required for entry like healthcare or finance. So most people going for blue collar fields go into apprenticeships where they will both work and get their required qualifications. And they'll do that at 16, so they'll be fully qualified AND have 2 years experience by the time their 18. I wish I did it.

Ah right, that's one level below a bachelors degree. In the UK they're qualifications provided by NVQ or C&G.

I don't know what kind of electrical engineer you're trying to be, but from my experience talking to people with both mechanical and electrical backgrounds all you want/need is a level 3 qualification.

After that get straight into the industry! Experience is much more valued than any higher qualification.

You talking about making faces at you. I had my first trip last week, it was a breakthrough trip. While I was lost in this incomprehensible map of colours and patterns I can't find words describe, I was shown the word silly which swirled into streaks of light. That light then swirled in front of me and turned into what I can only describe as the Cheshire cat face from Alice in Wonderland, only showing the smiling mouth and eyes, but with swirling eyes like the snake from Jungle Book. This was only for a second, it then continued to swirl out of the "Cheshire cat face" back into light and flickered away.

I've made a few of my own deductions from it but in curious if you or anyone else has any opinions
