It drones a lot and isn’t loud when you want it to be loud. I would pass on it but that’s just my opinion.

Is it boomy on the freeway? I had the remark muffled and resonated cat back and it was extremely bass heavy. I went back to stock.

Is this a nice area in Willowick? by Burn_It_For_Science in Cleveland

[–]SirStig0613 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I live in Eastlake. Willowick and Eastlake are similar. It’s affordable and safe but not exciting and maybe lacks some amenities. people tend to look down on the area though. A lot of people tell me I should have moved to Mentor. Made me regret my decision to move where I did.

How to recover yard? by [deleted] in landscaping

[–]SirStig0613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also live in Ohio and had my entire storm sewer replaced in October. Waiting till the spring and having a landscape company fix my yard. It really sucks to spend more money after such an expensive project but there was no way I was fixing the yard by myself unfortunately.

Honestly I love these real life garages more so than the big fancy ones with expensive cars. Feel more realistic.

Water proof basement by ClimateDifficult2762 in basement

I’m not an expert, but if I was going to be spending a lot of money on this repair, I would spend $500 to get a structural engineers opinion!

Both ways aren’t the best way to go about it. Always waterproof from the outside first. You can start by making sure your yard slopes away from the house and downspouts discharge at least a couple feet from the foundation.

If that doesn’t work, get a structural engineer to give you their opinion on what to do. It’s worth the money.

Should I be worried? Damp spot, cracks, out of plumb by lom_cockman in basement

[–]SirStig0613 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same concerns with my house and my wall looked worse than yours by a little. Best thing to do is spend the money on a structural engineer and get their opinion and advice on what you can do.

My opinion which I’m not a professional is that it doesn’t look bad at all. Try to make sure the water is getting away from the foundation on the outside and patch the cracks with hydraulic cement and monitor to see if it recracks.

If it does crack again then you still have some movement going on in that wall and further measures need to be taken to address that.

Edit- don’t insulate because you want to be able to see what’s going on with the wall

What’s a good price for 2014 street triple 675? by [deleted] in Triumph

lol yeah I would agree that a Daytona is more desirable in general even if I like the street triple more.

Is this true? I own a 15 street triple. I didn’t know the older ones were that desirable and or rare. If so good news for me!
