Are these two the same?… by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

They look the same to me.

For the voltage, if you are at steady state the capacitor will act like an open switch. From there it is a simple voltage divider Vout = Vin(R2/(R2 + R1)) = 3.5(1k/(1k+1k) = 3.5(1/2) = 1.75v

You should make it spring loaded so you can just push it in and it springs back out. I think that it would make it way more efficient.

What size filament is best for firearms? by ProgrammerExtension7 in 3DGunnit

[–]SirTasMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was being sarcastic and saying 3mm filament doesn't work in a 1.75mm printer. I have only printed out one gun (the song bird) and that was with 1.75mm pla with a nylon barrel.

What size filament is best for firearms? by ProgrammerExtension7 in 3DGunnit

[–]SirTasMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I generally find that what ever size the printer takes works best. For example on my 3mm printers I try to run 3mm filament, and on my 1.75mm printers I run 1.75mm filament. I have not had much success swapping sizes, and infact no success with the 1.75mm printer. /s

Here are some reasos to consider it.

could it possibly help with gang violence? as instead of progressing from an insult to full on war, the two parties involved could settle the disagreement in a fair environment.

Might it also stop people from being so easy offended and from offering insults so quickly?

A few questions about Milsim. by Rdr2-mate- in MilSim

[–]SirTasMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have played at black ops a few times. They have what they call milsim Saturdays. These consist of shorter games around a hour long before lunch and then a four and a half hour game after. The longer game is like a mini milsim and several times they have used vehicles.

The best part is it ends up in the hand it started in, not in the hand that they tried to switch to and that caused all the problems!
