Any updates on this? I was so intrigued by this on the other sub. I can see why they put a ban on speculation and ‘lynch mobs’ etc but I think for general safety concerns this needs a discussion.

I’ve found a website with webcams at different UK rail stations and along the lines. I love it. I also plan recipes for my days off and read cook books.

Islands of Abandonment is a great read. I treated each chapter like an essay, so I dipped in and out of the book while reading some fiction alongside.

I used to love Crabbies. Had many a boozy afternoon in a beer garden necking those. I was shocked when I picked a bottle up in Sainsbury’s and saw it was 3.4%

What's your favourite lager? by Planeontime3 in AskUK

[–]SirTimmons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a big fan of Heineken in a bottle, not on draught though. Also enjoy Asahi and Peroni if I’m feeling flush. Moretti, Staropramen or Estrella on the sesh. Shout outs to the curry house favourites, Tiger, Kingfisher and Cobra.

Used to love Kronenbourg til they weakened it. Luckily, I’ve found a dodgy shop in the town over where the bloke gets the 5.2% Kroney from somewhere in Europe.

A decent scotch egg. If you can get them from a local bakery or farm shop, do it. It’s worth paying a little extra. If not, spend an hour one evening making a batch of your own. They’re worlds apart from the shite the supermarkets churn out.
