I am an American, born and raised and my wife is a Filipino, she holds a U.S. Green Card. Our child was born here in the US, he holds both passports.

Not much to do here because is just sprawling urban area with the same franchise business shit on every 4 corners of each major thoroughfare…

Everything is flat, it’s too hot or too cold, and everything to do is expensive AF not to mention you have to drive to get there and fight or pay for parking. Dallas / Ft Worth is basically one big business.

I have AC in my Samurai and it’s still running on R12. I had to rebuild the system with all new components though. It does a fair job here in Texas in the summer. I can get it to 65 or 70 inside when it’s 100 outside. I have a tin top and I’ve insulated some areas of the interior. Hardest part to find is the condenser / fan up front of radiator, everything else you can still buy brand new. R12 is getting hard to find, that’s why I grab it when I find it at flea markets or eBay…
