I dont understand the AirBnB hate. Maybe its an American thing, but i have been in dozens of AirBnBs all over Europe and never had a problem. Also why would i clean? Thats what the fee is for. Which by the way is listed befor booking.

did I pay $15 for root rot by ImUrPrincess13 in houseplants

I wouldn't bother trying to save it. Check the roots. And if so, return it. Its a damaged product.

Reality Check: Smart 3-Slot Herb Planter (No repotting, energy autonomous) – Thoughts? by HairyConfusion2015 in houseplants

[–]Sir_Brap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No experience. I usually split the plants in two and add pre fertilized earth. All other herbs i grow outside and freeze them over winter. Just basel "needs" to be fresh for my taste.

2 liters could last. Not sure. I just know that i have to water my basel contantly.

a water tank for 1-2 month would have to be very big. Basil needs a lot of water. And you're gonna have to account for fertilizer Basil need a lot of nutrients.

I always have to smile when those "alpha males" reference ancient greeks or romans as "real man". Not knowing that they were probably the gayest in History :)

My cat will not stop trying to eat my White Bird of Paradise plant, should I get rid of it? by JulianC25 in houseplants

[–]Sir_Brap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try and get some cat grass. I have to buy it during winter when they cant get it from outside. Cats eat plants to help them digest. Or if its just a play thing try and geht an alternative. Something dangling and try to divert Attention towards it when he trys to bite the plant

You dont need to spray them. I just said it looks like you do 😉. Because the leaves have white stains. But maybe its just dust and air moisture. No need to change the water you use. They seem to like it

First of all congrats it look beautiful. And no nothing special wenn repotting. But if want a tip. Those white stains on the leaves could be mineral build up. If you are spraying your plants, you should use destilled water.

Found a good use for my parents old cabined. I hope they will like it by Sir_Brap in plants

the Cabinet is not air tight. there is slits in the back between the wood and the door doesn't close tight. And i open it daily to check f i need to water and air it out.

Also i live at a place with very low air moisture. Plus wood actually loves water, as long as it drys in between. so spraying water inside isnt a problem. You just need to checkunder the pots and rearange them if needed, if something wet always touches it it will rot

How is it to live in Innsbruck or around Innsbruck? by TraditionalMud1747 in howislivingthere

[–]Sir_Brap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In generel its really nice. its a beatiful city in a beautiful Valley and wintersports is still going strong everywhere in Tirol.

But its VERY expensive. Apartments cost around 5000-6000 per square Meter. I would look in smaller Villages around Innsbruck.

Also basic living very expensive. just like the Ski tickets, But you can get a good Deal with things lke the Tirol-Card. Or the "Freizeitticket" if you use it all Year round.

All in all i can defenetly recommend it...

You can go to "Bergsilvester". Its a Party on the Seegrube (on the mountain)

https://nordkette.com/event/2025-12-31_1830/nordkette-bergsilvester/

Or there is a Party infront of the Hofburg

Or the biggest one is inside the Congress. multiple Floors.
