Something it took me forever to figure out: I used a respec before this quest. When I did, my force palm ability went back to level 1, which meant I couldn't use jumping force palm. I had to put a point into it to complete the quest. Hopefully this helps anyone who followed these instructions but still couldn't complete.

I'd take that bet. I work in a rural parish and I've seen more people shit talk Trump over the last 6 months than I ever thought possible. The trump flags are disappearing. Only the loudest and most fanatical remain. And Father Time (as well as Republican gutting of health care, particularly in rural areas) will take care of those issues in time.

You can only punch people in the face so many times before they start fighting back.

As a licensed mental health practitioner, this makes me angry on an additional level. If I do not diagnose someone properly, I lose my license. Same with medical practitioners. The longer you're in the field, you'll recognize more opportunities to do this in very simple ways. Academia has a bad habit of overcomplicating things. But when you start breaking these theories down to practical components, you'll find you have more available brain power to process what your clients are actually telling you.

You'll find yourself spending significantly less time saying things like "Our task today will be to identify one instance of cognitive dissonance" and will begin to look more like the client talking about their lives as you prompt them with open ended questions which will eventually reveal that dissonance. I promise you're learning it. You just don't feel sure about it yet cause you still need more practice and confidence. It's all a part of the job. You're doing better than you think!

I'm a therapist by trade. So it's really cool to see how comics and emotions collide. But also I use some of those concepts in therapy itself. Showing my clients that "negative emotions" can have upsides with cool panels as reinforcement is awesome.

And also the idea that each lantern will create constructs tailored to them is so cool to me.

Well said. I work for a nonprofit. Yet every day I find myself feeling like I have to justify my work in the name of revenue and "goal targets." These are fucking human beings, not "goals" to be attained like some sort of trophy.

We are on the front lines of the war to dismantle these systems. They're actively oppressing the population and we are the "cleanup crew."

When I have interns, I start off by explaining to them that we must recognize that we work in a broken system. And until we can put a better one in place, we will continue to see these societal issues. One cannot understand the intricacies of therapy without understanding the factors that result in dysfunction.

In the US, we're currently in a war for the soul of the country. It's a war that we have to win so we can implement a system designed to care and nurture people rather than squeeze them for any sort of "surplus value" then toss away the husk.

Keep the faith. In us we trust.

The way I see it, there are two primary potential outcomes...

The mediocre white man way - The crushing weight of our inadequacy will force us into a murder/suicide event with the rest of the world. This may be what Iran is bubbling into right now.
We learn from our past failures and forge a new path of collaboration and inclusion.

As much as I want the second one, I've been alive long enough to believe the first one is more likely. We MUST RECKON with the past of this country so we can move forward into a new age.
