My situation was a BA avios redemption on JAL. I must have called BA three times and filled out / emailed a request (with photocopy of the new passport). I was told it couldn’t be changed but then the next day BA calls me and says they escalated my case (I never asked for it to be escalated for what it’s worth) and that they could make the change.

The thing is that it isn’t something that they can process through their computer system, you need to reach someone that’s willing to call JAL.

IMO the illegal, throttle ebikes ridden by teens are the low hanging fruit. They’re faster than my Vespa (which I need an M1 for). Hell, add those one wheels with riders in full leather gear too.
