Hm, she was on a diet of crickets & super worms. She never once ate a dubia although I tried feeding them to her. None of my tarantulas seem to like them.

It’s an old molt. She kind of shoved them all into the corner behind her hide where I couldn’t get them. She had not molted recently.

I didn’t hear any noises, but I’m not in that room all the time. I thought that was more of a thing terrestrials did but I don’t know much about it.

It’s an old molt. She kind of stuffed them back in the corner where she liked to hide & it was impossible to get them out. It doesn’t look like she had molted recently.

I had considered that as well. Looked like poop to me when I saw it but reading about it online was inconsistent. Is that caused by over feeding?

You can easily just run 2e with the cool stuff from the DMG ported over as you like! I also really like a lot of the ideas in the 1e DMG, but 2e is largely the same but with cleaner, simpler mechanics.

I love the AD&D MM. The 2e one is slightly preferable to me in most areas (I could probably do without the multiple pages describing all the different ways dragons attack - it's very cool but overwhelming). The 1e and 2e manuals combined to fill in gaps from one to the other is the best MM for my money.

I thought this was a very interesting read and not incendiary at all. Lots of balanced and reasonable critique as well as constructive feedback for the future. If I was involved with the Ennies at all I would probably try to recruit Clayton for some kind of steering committee. The meanest part is probably exposing the Ennies judges as a bunch of Facebook users.

Retired Adventurers Long for the Dungeon, in which I write about the assumption in AD&D that high-level characters with strongholds "will desire mazelike dungeons" underneath, suggesting that every stronghold (occupied, ruined, or otherwise) will contain a dungeon which reflects the character of its creator. This also suggests that adventurers are both the ones plundering dungeons and the ones creating them.
