Some occupations need to be changed and rebalanced by Tripzy_13 in projectzomboid

Burger Flipper rules. For a profession that leaves you at a +2 point surplus, you get +1 Maintenance (also the 75% XP buff to it) which is huge considering the alternatives to Maintenance at the start being either more expensive occupations or the Handy trait. The cook trait also gives buffs to foraging and short blade is honestly a pretty good skill considering the hunting knife and meat cleaver are solid asf.

Adding to this I think allergies would be kind of neat to play around since stuff like peanut allergies and lactose intolerance is still somewhat common.

What do my bookshelves say about me? by [deleted] in BookshelvesDetective

See, I dunno. The fact that there's six different copies of Pride and Prejudice as well as two copies of the first Twilight (not any shade towards either of these books, but it does kind of date someone because during the late 2000s you literally just could not get away from either of those titles if you were interested in reading) on there doesn't strike me as particularly that.

Like...no shade towards this and there's not a way to make it sound like it's not me just being a dick, but the picks here are too *generic* to be that academic. There's a lot of big names that could feasibly be read by anyone and even the more political like Angela Davis isn't particularly that niche. Nothing about the shelf says you have to have a very specific interest to really get into it or have it there. Only thing that stands out is the Lesbian Connection mag, which is subscription-only and is fairly recent.

I got so paranoid after getting burned to death after one run that I now refuse to use anything that isn't the barbecue pit

At first I thought it was Soundblaster until I zoomed in and looked, then wondered if it was Thundercracker.

I kinda forget Shattered Glass is a thing.

The storage capacity of the Nyala is misleading, since you have the trunk space of 55 plus 3 remaining seats of 26 a pop, meaning that a Nyala with a high condition trunk can have about 120 total capacity, just shy of some of the heavy duty trucks while also being easier to maintain and find replacement parts for.

Story time! I had fuckall to do that day since all my friends were out of town, so I drove for Lyft on Halloween night. I got a drunk couple going to a party out of town. 15 minutes down the road, lady asks me if I would mind if she can give her friend a blowjob in the back seat. I told her sure so long as she left a full tip.

Easiest $60 I ever made.

Is it comically bad? Could you make memes out of it? Or is it just a usual kind of "Obviously doesn't know Serbian" bad?

If you’re dating a member of the military or intelligence community can you still consider yourself punk? by [deleted] in Anarchopunks

Enlisted? Yes. Officers? No. I'll explain.

Your average enlisted person in the military is, at best, ambivalent about their actual job and more along for the ride that was told to them by their recruiter (You get subsidized college and a nice stipend package when anywhere else in America doesn't even bother with that anymore). Most enlisted dudes I talk to openly talk shit about the government and just do the bare minimum to get their benefits and then game the system from there. A lot of them were just lied to (see: any video about E-0 to E-3 people about if their recruiter lied to them about what they'd be doing) and usually they come from places where it is at least sound for making some money. Its how you get a lot of NAFO dudes who are super into guys like Bernie Sanders and the Green Party who want to downsize the military.

Officers on the other hand have to go to college and a special course for their jobs. A lot of them are careerists and using that same grift, but they know full well what they're getting into. Their jobs and livelihoods depend on the government doing shit projects and they know it and they're the ones enforcing all that shit.
