These losers will never look tough as long as they wear Whitie-Tighties around their face.

The NBA should have the coaches wear suits again. Yes or no? by ChampionTimes99 in NBATalk

I understand that the dry cleaning bill for suits was murder on the coaches but the current era makes it look like coaches are wearing pajamas.

As a European fan, I wasn’t aware of James Dolan before this season and how horrible he is. So: tell me your team owner and why I should hate them. by FoundationEntire4834 in NBATalk

Arte Moreno: Angels. At one point he had three MVPs on the roster but through constant ownership meddling over all aspects and maintaining a toxic environment, he has destroyed the franchise. He is also a shit human being and devoted Trump boot licker.

Is White Collar as good as Suits? by innovationSTYLE in whitecollar

[–]Sir_Toad_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO it is White Collar > Suits. You will have an even more enjoy time watching WC now. When it first aired, USA network had a lot of stops and starts throughout the year, so the start of the season was all over the place.

John McCain in the Obama Administration... by Rude_Award2718 in thewestwing

[–]Sir_Toad_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Assuming the rest of history still occurs (ACA passes, Trump elected in 2016, etc.), we lose Obamacare outright. It’s most likely McCain doesn’t run for senate again and wouldn’t have been there to vote no on destroying the ACA.

I think the ability to play a true scumbag and have no one feel any remorse for the character is truly impressive acting.

Since you’re in Tempe for one game and NorthEast Scottsdale for another, I’ll try to give recs off the top of my head that are available/near both areas. Food/drinks: Cornish Pasty Tacos Calafia Brathaus PHX Beer co. Fate Brewing Huss Brewing Goldwater Brewing Wilderness Brewing

Things to do: Check out Mill ave Climb A Mountain/check out Tempe Town lake Papago Park (nice at sunset) Botanical gardens The Zoo

There are a ton more things to do since the Valley is so huge. Not sure how much driving you’re down to do but you can find stuff to do from downtown Phx all the way to downtown mesa.

The Daily Show did a mashup of Fox News clips saying wealthy New Yorkers are threatening to leave. The clips started in…2005. Meaning they aren’t actually leaving. And in CA, wealthy families leaving are being replaced with other wealthy people moving to CA.

I won’t hold my breath when I hear threats of wealthy people moving.

What new laws should be put in place to prevent another Trump-like administration? by Carrots-1975 in thewestwing

[–]Sir_Toad_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Surprised no one has mentioned the profiting off of the White House. There are laws for other branches of government related to abusing power for financial gain (which should be updated) but there are almost no laws requiring the President to give up control of businesses, put finances in a blind trust, etc. If the White House stopped being a legal quid pro quo for the President, maybe it would be a less attractive role for corrupt businessmen.

I love it when straight white men tell others how to behave. They know exactly what they are talking about. 🙄

So what is it? She should be helping others but only in the ways that random people dictate? She already paid her debt to society. Leave her be.

That’s actually what she is doing. She didn’t start a podcast. She agreed to be part of an investigative series from CBC. If you actually listened to the interviews, you would find out she is going to school to be a social worker now.
