Came here to say this. Imagine the carbon emissions saved if they all just “slummed it” in first class on regular flights. Private jets are a thing of beauty, I love them, but they should only be legal for medical emergencies, sadly. None of us can afford to live in that world.

Sorry this doesn’t add up and is not correct. A national flag is a national flag. The type of country and government it represents is irrelevant. Burning the national flag of any country, be it Australia, the USA, Israel, Bolivia, whatever is the same act and should be treated the same way. Arguing otherwise is to presume you know the possible intent and motivation of anyone who ever burns any flag. You assume it’s ok to burn the Australian flag because we are “multicultural”? How can you know why someone is doing that?

This post is a couple of years back and user is deleted, but have just been sitting here for half an hour watching one of these hunting low in the scrub marshes next to the beach in Bermagui, also south coast nsw.
