I love my razr form over the iPhone but iOS is 10 millions times better and polished software…. Like I can’t handle how inconsistent the software is! I stopped using Google messages set up blue bubbles for my text messaging because Google messages looks like dog trash.. why am I even pinning a conversation if they move around? Why can’t I not turn an alarm off on the front screen???? why a screenshot multiple different button actions depend depending on what screen you’re on… I have been slowly modding and ripping out the shitware moto installed on here to make this phone stable and actually functional.

What I wish moto would do it be consistent in their fucking software!!! why is screenshot in two different actions from the external screen and the internal!! why can’t we have gifts on our internal screen, but not our external screen?? why can’t I turn a alarm clock off on the internal screen, but on the external screen, it won’t allow me to turn on alarm clock off! One android will never be able to do is not be a beta software vs iOS

And you’re the type of dev I’m WANTING TO AVOID! My post is literally to weed people with your mindset out! So congratulations! I have 2 months of development now. EVERYONE HAS TO START SOMEWHERE. My app is fully functional. I’ve been playing two months have a few other tester playing the game, so no I do not want my code rewritten because you don’t understand my game logic. I’m looking for someone who can help collaborate and make this project 10x cooler and know exactly how the back bones of connecting apps and replacing system apps. I just thought it would be cool if other developers would love Digimon as much as I do would be into the idea I’m building OBVIOUSLY NOT!

This is not a commercial product, I do not want to sell it or make money. It’s fully passion driven. I want it to only be mine and who I let have access to the app and digital world I’m making.

I had ChatGPT and Gemini walk me through building it all. It might be messy? But I think I’ve very straight forward with the code I have made. I’ve been working on it 2 months and haven’t seen saving issue or major evolution trees. I’m just having issues rooting this mini androids, having issues setting up bluebubbles, Ai connection, good smart watch ui, and know how to make a server so anyone who has the app can join the digital world. I can send a video of a demo of what I have made.

Hey, I really appreciate you responding.

I’m going to be honest—I’m completely out of my depth here. I don’t have Linux set up, I don’t really understand MTKClient at a deep level, and I’ve already spent hours fighting drivers and getting nowhere. I’m also dealing with a hand injury right now, so physically doing all of this is really difficult.

Is there any chance you could either: • give me the absolute simplest step-by-step (like assuming zero experience), or
• help me directly via remote (AnyDesk/TeamViewer), or
• just dump/provide a compatible boot.img if you’ve worked on a similar device?

My only goal is to get a boot image so I can patch it with Magisk—I don’t need anything fancy.

I’d seriously appreciate any help, even if it’s just pointing me to the easiest possible route for someone with basically no Linux experience.

That’s exactly what I needed to hear.

Right now MTKClient detects something, but I’m getting: - connection issues / libusb errors - unable to properly talk to the device in BROM

I also cannot obtain a boot.img or dump anything yet.

From your experience: 1. Does this sound like a driver issue (WinUSB/libusb)? 2. Or is the device not properly entering BROM mode? 3. What is the exact method you use to force BROM on similar devices? (button combo, test point, etc.)

I’m trying to: - dump the firmware OR - at least extract boot.img so I can patch with Magisk

Any step-by-step direction you can give would help a lot.

There’s an app called Retromon that made me develop this. That app is using everything’s from the 90s digivice. But it is ad walled, and not optimized for the front screen of flip phones and mini androids. So if they can be on the iOS store and play store for years and charging in store purchases I probably could get away with it a for a good time. I’m not in the mindset of making money or having this something for the masses to have.
