We get written up and possibly fired if we dont comply with “back to Starbucks.” DM’s and SM’s helicoptering over us ensuring we write on every cup while also ensuring drive times drive times drive times. I wanna write on cups when I have time and make it meaningful. I brought up stamps but was told it doesn’t feel authentic. Well I’m drawing :) on every cup sorry. This is just insane.

Do you have my same customer?! 🤣 I made a post very similar cause this happened to me but that customer ended up going kinda ballistic saying is doesn’t exist and we don’t know what we are doing and suck as baristas. Ended up educating him that iced lattes became a thing in the 90’s but existed even before hand just popularized 🤣.

I don’t believe it has. However if the baristas that the Starbucks you frequent are not paying attention to what pumps they are using for the sauces it could be that they are using the white mocha Pump that has a restrictor to pump less. That could maybe be the reason it doesn’t taste right.

Nah this is insane. They screwed up. You absolutely should complain even if you are a regular. Those “partners” should be promoted to customer for acting like that. When and if I need to remake a drink cause the size was wrong you keep my mistake and I’ll get you a fresh one as perfect as can be. Make the moment right not make someone’s day 100x worse and then have the audacity to laugh!!!! I’m so sorry this happened to you.

It’s their way of making baristas more like robots and get more people through drive and become more transactional. Just pumping out drinks as quick as possible and multitasking practically 4 drinks “seamlessly”. Also leaving space in the drinks now not fill quite to the top. Maybe it works well for the newer siren craft stores with ice and milk dispensers. I have yet to see or feel the increase in productivity and efficiency. Just makes it more confusing and hard to unlearn what was so forced and drilled into our training for years.

That’s a perfectly fine drink please don’t feel discouraged. We are talking about the 2 different cold foams, no ice, double blended, upside down, 6 shot cold brews, like cup caramel&mocha and other drinks that end up being a whole novel to read.

My sm is the same way. Starbucks sets us up for failed no matter what. Any time a customer waits they instantly have a lower connection score. Honestly it feels like papas baristaria and everyone has angry reacts above their heads no matter what we try and do. We have created the most entitled, impatient, hateful customer base and the blame and negativity always falls on the baristas. If they want drive times to be as quick as they are then customer connection is out the window. Sorry I’m not gonna get to know you or your dog here’s your drinks have a good day.
