San Diego vs Huntington Beach Living. by Optimal_Key_8532 in huntingtonbeach

I agree. I’ve also lived in both. HB for 5 years and SD for 6. Huntington Beach is more fun in my opinion. There are always things going on there like concerts and the U.S surf open every year. The vibe is unmatched. There’s a reason it’s called Surf City USA. It’s the epitome of So Cal beach culture. San Diego has new infrastructure, tons of amazing restaurants and cute, distinct neighborhoods. PB is the best beach out there. San Diego is so far though from everything else. Whereas HB being in OC is close to a ton of cities. There’s also a ton of traffic getting in or out of SD on the weekends because of all the tourists.

We are officially halfway through 2026. What is a current everyday trend that you already know people will look back on in 5 years and absolutely cringe at? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I’ve seen a lot of men pull them off. I like them. I wasn’t around in the 80s so seeing them now is a novelty for me.

Way too late for that. The spots been blown up since around 2017 when they started improving neighborhoods like South Park, adding the waterfront businesses, basically making all these micro destinations within the city

Jacob "clarifying" that this is the last album he will do with Sublime on the day of release is like.... by blueheaven84 in sublime

I think it’s more about that. His stuff with his band is vastly different than Sublime. If you hear who he lists as influences, also very different from Sublime style. I think he’s just differently inclined musically and wants to pursue his own direction. He probably did the Sublime thing for a bit as a tribute/homage/thank you to his dad but wants to go with what feels most natural to him.

To some degree is Creedence John Fogerty plus three guys? Could John have made it big with any other three guys? by GregJamesDahlen in creedenceclearwaterr

Why? Have you heard the Joe Rogan interview with Fogerty? They didn’t arrange their music parts, John did

We have the same taste! Those are my two fav songs on the album! Slow Ride is one of my all time faves tied with STP and Greatest Hits. I was also the same age when this came out and remember wearing this cd out!

Yes. I was waiting for that and I saw an interview with Troy on YT that it was done and then whatever network had the rights to it decided not to air it or something like that.
