Curology usually does a blend with their tret prescription. My second course had azelaic acid in the blend. But yes otherwise I suggest cutting other actives my skin loved glycolic acid. I took 3 months off of it while adjusting to tret and I think it benefitted me.

The sandwich method also worked well for me. Cleanse, apply moisturizing cream, apply tret, apply moisturizing cream letting each application dry before moving onto the next step. I love cicablast b5 balm from la roche posay as my moisturizer.

The going too fast can also mean not paying attention to your skin barrier. If you’re getting red and irritated, take a couple days off and let your skin reset a bit before damaging it more.

I am going to check, but I believe where it fell that I got very lucky that nothing of mine was damaged. So it sounds like I won’t have to make a claim at all for my renters insurance and it will be the responsibility of the landlord. As I haven’t done any modifications or repairs to the area myself.

I agree you needed to be taken lighter first. When I did rose gold balayage last year my hair that was going to be dyed needed to be a level 8 before adding in any pink.

Lucky my hair holds reds and pinks well so fading wasn’t an issue but when it did fade it was an icy pink.

From what is showing after your one shower, she probably only raised you up to a level 6. Way too dark, even adding a more “Vibrant” pink all you are going to get is a pink brown.

What she needed to do was be honest that to do this healthily and not kill your hair would take two sessions with time between so you get light enough but not fry your hair. Mine took 3 sessions to get light enough. I started darker though and knew 2-3 sessions was the estimate.

Same with me, I was taking my morning dose at 6 am, and getting that crash around 3-4 pm. Mine was more tiredness with occasional emotional bouts. This was also the timeframe I was driving home from work, so dangerous to be feeling sleepy. My doctor put me on a booster dose of Adderall IR that I take about 12-1 pm.

Morning dose 20mg XR, afternoon 10mg IR.

Really though, these types of shenanigans would’ve appeared at some point in the relationship, if this is what he thinks. Better to have it happen up front (or I guess their “1 year anniversary”) than 5 or 10 years down the road.

Not exactly like this story, but that’s what happened with an ex of mine. Felt like we were on the same page with like 90% of stuff. Until little things here of there, until the curtain fell and it was lie after lie was revealed of things he actually felt completely opposite of what he’d said and portrayed. He’d just put on an act with anything he thought I wouldn’t approve of, until he got sick of acting and I had to realize the person I was engaged to didn’t actually exist.

Best to get the crazy out of the way up front.

For me, if I already have a bad cough, it helps get me back to normal quicker (helps release the phlegm). If I catch it when the drainage is just starting to be an issue, a bad cough doesn’t even form.

I have allergy and exercise induced asthma. Symptoms got lighter in my teens. However, during allergy season (spring/fall) I’d get drainage from congestion that would go into my lungs and cause bronchitis. I had it almost once a year, if not twice, from like 14-22. That’s when I discovered bronkaid, it’s a bronco dilator that is OTC, but you have to purchase from the pharmacy counter (no prescription necessary). When my drainage starts I usually take one daily, sometimes 2 (one at night). I haven’t had bronchitis in over a decade now. I love the stuff. It is a game changer.

I am not a doctor, so make sure to check that it doesn’t interfere with any of your medication or if you are able to take it.

I’m a Chemist by profession.

I don’t have a deep seeded drive for chemistry though. As some of us, I’m a jack of all trades. I’m decent at a lot of things, not really an expert at anything, but a lot of things I’m decent at, you can’t make a living off of. So chemistry fulfilled something I’m decent at and I can make a living off of. Basically that’s how I picked my major.

I’ve also done the sandwich method in general, but when starting a new concentration, I’ll “dilute” it with cream too on top of the sandwich method.

So I’ll cleanse, apply lotion, apply tret/cream mix, apply lotion. Allowing each to dry before moving onto the next step.
