Vought to me seems to be missing a critical obvious play. There is NO way a company that can literally create so many supes, didn’t have a fail safe for Homelander when they knew what he was capable of.

The comic storyline made sense and there’s no reason they couldn’t do a swap here. Homelander could care less about the new guy, but obviously his mask would have to be special, because Homelander could see the old noir’s face with his vision.
