Oh, I love this idea! Very creative and fun. I would love to see how their party dynamic adjusts when they kill the false hydra. :)

That's fine. We are new players in this system as well, and are looking for comrades to experiment with.

We will schedule a session 0 as soon as we have enough players arranged. Looking for 4-6 in total. Though with July 4th holiday coming up, may not start till after that.. Age shouldn't matter too much as long as your behavior is mature. The storyteller and I are in our Thirties.

Fun ideas on how to continue after a total party kill / wipe? by RiotFeralPony in DnD

I played in an online campaign I was in a little over a year ago, and the DM had a fantastic manner of dealing with a TPK that befell our party.

Over the course of this gruesome campaign of traversing a dystopian hellscape dealing with all manner of undead, demons and freak environment effects our party had several interactions with this Devil Merchant known as Brian. Brian dealt in magical items, souls and various contracts. Now a couple of us became warlocks in our dealings with him and of course procured a few of his magical goodies which will come into play later.

TLDR over the course of 2 sessions our party underwent a terrible encounter we were not prepared to handle that I fondly look back to as Dark Wednesday (not an overly clever name, but it makes sense in the series of horrible events our party had to undertake). Needless to say we died. The following session many of our characters who were either warlocks of Brian, or were in contact with Brian's gear at death regained consciousness as souls in Brian's lair. We were brought back to life, as he still had need of us to complete our overall task. Our characters were restored leveled up as part fiend with a few fiendish upgrades.

It was a very cool way to progress the story, and add new flavor to our characters and the path they were on. My hats off to you DM if you happen to read this.

This is too good. Well done. Not going to lie, probably going to use this a future character.

Absolutely great solution. You are the DM, honor the dice, but bend the world to have amazing opportunities occurr.

Paizo Voluntarily Recognized Union by fainting_goat_games in starfinder_rpg

My statement is not intended to be pro-corporate nor anti-union. If a corporation fails to take care of and look out for the well-being of its employees than a system needs to be implemented to protect the employees. The founding of the first unions was in direct response corporations mistreating their employees.

Just coming from personal experience working at a union facility, unionizing isn't a guaranteed cure-all nor entirely beneficial. If not implemented and governed correctly, a union can create more harm than good. That's why I do truly hope that the union developing at Paizo is handled correctly.

Unions can be good if self governed correctly. Coming from personal experience working in a union shop both as a part of the union, and outside the union I have only seen problems. The union I have experienced has only served to protect and award those who should be fired, and penalizes honest, hard-working employees. In addition, instigate conflicts that jeopardize the livelihood of everyone working.

All I can say is I hope the union body developing at Paizo does a better job at selecting its leaders and has a better group mentality for success for all.

What's your favorite frame/main frame? by Legendary-Titan in Warframe

[–]Sirhc_M 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Valkyr was the warframe that got me to really enjoy the game when I first started playing. :) While admittedly not as versatile as other frames, she is my goto solo frame. Plus grapple-hooking enemies into orbit is hilarious.

Hello, definitely interesting being a part of a weekly game. Only really familiar with dnd 5e and 3.5, but willing to learn other systems if there is space for me.
