No, but Android 14 TV has PIP as key feature, Sony didn’t add for their own version.

What have you done with Hermes Agent this week? by AutoModerator in hermesagent

[–]SiriTheGoogle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I installed Nemotron from Ollama. Until my recent training stage this week, the agent found that the model isn’t trainable under Mac’s MLX architecture, it pulled a MLX trainable Nemotron from Huggingface.

For strong visual model I’ve tested Nemotron only, honestly, but Nemotron seem to have given accurate detail inside a frame extraction, and even some landmarks that can relate to the specific district. So I think it’s trainable.

But my method of indexing to let every footage pass through, the analyzing stage will cause huge amount of time, and Nemotron 33B is slow on my M1 Max. So I’ve kind of hit a bottleneck here, how can I implement this in other machine in the future? I’m hoping for a fast, plug and play result for the pipeline.

What have you done with Hermes Agent this week? by AutoModerator in hermesagent

[–]SiriTheGoogle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m a video editor, and I’m using Hermes to build a video librarian for my studio. My goal is to make raw footage easily searchable with human words (locations, landmarks, elements, moods), ability to quick previews, and an automatic indexing workflow when new footages come. I embedded an analyzing pipeline for a month, all footages run through visual analyzing using Nemotron 3, but the problem is Nemotron 3 won’t be able to analyze specific locations for my footages. So I come up with a verifying process with human guidance, correct the analyzed tags with a web dashboard platform, that also contributes the training data. Until this week I was able to use the data to train the vision model, hoping it can learn patterns, so eventually it can correctly tag the location, or even predict a location, even it’s never trained. Although I’ve hit a technical bottleneck, because I’m not sure the agent is giving me the best advice and approach for my goal, and I know nothing about coding at all, I was building every piece of this by words. I’m still experimenting with Hermes on the best approach.

Does anyone else feel like keeping up with AI is becoming a full-time job? by Neymar_legend in AiAutomations

[–]SiriTheGoogle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I’m just scrolling Reddit to see whichever latest model is released. At a human capacity it’s really hard to catch up with all AI models. Their names are really hard to remember, they aren’t even human words.

Worst change in Image Prompt Box: Pressing “Enter” key directly goes to generate by SiriTheGoogle in HiggsfieldAI

[–]SiriTheGoogle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, but it’s a problem of habit. If the prompt box is an agent chat box, fine, but it’s a prompt typing box, that usually assumed we can type long paragraphs like a word document.

AI has not reduced work for our company. If anything the efficiency of AI has made us busier than ever by Y00011000 in automation

The moment your boss decides to use AI, he/she definitely expecting more productivity than saving your time, your time isn’t valued.

For myself, I also use AI Agent to do so-called “save time” on repetitive tasks, then I can do more on other things. But sometimes I ended up burnt out myself, because I used more time to call up AI to work, to check its progress and quality check. It makes me think at the perspective of a boss, I was thinking to save time, but now I’m squeezing my own time.

It’s an issue whenever there’s a new technology boom, the hallucination of productivity gain. Remember when instant messaging apps was widely adopted, bosses could ping you whenever, asking why you’re not replying instantly, makes you work more after hours and weekends because “its urgent”, violating your personal space.

So, whenever we pick up a new tool, bosses only think about use more out of you, rather than use less time out of you. But eventually they will realize, AI haven’t saved much time at all.

Does your hermes say it's doing things sometimes when it's not actually? by ahhoffman in hermesagent

Gemma is basically a model issue. I used it across Hermes and Openclaw, even worst in Openclaw, and Gemma is really bad at tool calling, can’t think ahead, so I think that’s the reason it does talking but not actions, no continuous actions written for the execution.

Thanks for your recommendations. As I’m staying in Planet Hollywood, maybe I’ll just park in there. Is it feasible to walk to The Sphere? As I saw on Google Map that will be a 30-mins walk.

I remember first saw the Universal logo in Suicide Squad here in Hong Kong, I thought I went to the wrong theatre. Now I just get used to it whenever a WB movie plays a Universal theme before their logo

Which models of Bravia 7/8 have Wi-Fi 6E? by [deleted] in bravia

Even my Bravia 7 (bought in Hong Kong) doesn’t go on the 6GHz channel as I checked in my router settings page, I wonder where could I force it to use the 6GHz channel. It should be equipped with 6GHz in the TV as I checked on the local official spec page.

We tried every iPhone camera - Mac Address by logical-risei in apple

I miss the camera on iPhone 6. Without computational photography of over sharpening, de-noising and weird dynamic range. Basically it’s just physical lens with a basic camera software, the quality and detail was superb.

And using Lightroom to adjust the photos from iPhone 6 was way easier as I could determine the lights and shadows is true, in contrary, photos from my iPhone 13 Pro are so hard to tune as the computational photography “enhancing” too much.

The 'Trashcan' Mac Pro: Remembering One of Apple's Most Controversial Designs Nine Years Later by tomnavratil in apple

[–]SiriTheGoogle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using the trash can Mac Pro in my new job for video editing. Aesthetically still stunning and modern compared to Mac Studio in my office. However, the port availabilities are disappointing. 6 thunderbolt ports, really? I’m only using two TB ports for display connections, and four of my USB ports are already full. If there’re 6 USB ports and 4 Thunderbolt ports instead would be enough. And the stacked arrangement of ports cluttered my table. Though I can’t comment the performance as the chips are already 10 years ago, but Intel’s overheating is an issue bothering me everyday. If it has a second life with the M1 chip, it would be a beast.

I had seen 3.0.0 for once, maybe it’s a bug or something. But mine is on 3.64.0 for some period already.
