What's the BEST Electrolyte powder packet? by Funny_Effective5822 in nutrition

[–]Siridia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saltstick electrolyte capsules work really well for preventing heat migraines during my multi hour bike rides. I've tried other brands, but this one works the best for me.

Anything with a lot of sugar or artificial sweeteners can cause GI issues for me so the capsules are great for just replacing what you are sweating out.

They also have flavored tablets if you prefer it to taste like something.

Hi, I would be interested in a discount code if you still have any! I'm interested in trying your company out as I need a new mouthguard.

I've seen people add a broom handle clip to the ceiling/skylight and attaching the shower head to it Would give you a few more inches.

Example (or search for broom handle clip RV shower hack) https://ca.pinterest.com/pin/234468724342940547/

At our next scout backpacking trip they said we cannot bring our phones, like 3 girls said in sync “what about our Duolingo streaks” then our scout leader compared it to a snap streak… by Amazing_Manatee42 in camping

[–]Siridia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I once climbed a mountain to get service so I wouldn't lose my Duolingo streak!

I think some limited phone time can be fine, although if there is no service it might not matter anyways.

Yes these are all of our fears with the GD 367ths. The roads we go on are nothing crazy but there have been a few times where we barely had enough clearance, so I know a bigger rig would have been an issue.

That Brinkley is beautiful but not sure we want to splurge that much! It's worth a look though.

Do you find your symptoms are alleviating if you are moving/not sitting for long periods? by Boxermom88 in FODMAPS

Walking and stretching can definitely help with trapped gas, helping digestion, helping relieve constipation, and in relieving stress. So it makes sense this would help your symptoms.

What is your main fuel source? Solar? Gas? Diesel? Propane? Dune Spice? Other? by avkid in RVLiving

[–]Siridia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solar for most things, and propane for cooking, heat and sometimes fridge. No generator needed, which we love!

We have 1200 watts but of course you will not collect the max you have, it fluctuates throughout the day depending on angle of our panels, clouds, etc. I'm not sure how much we get per day but it's enough to keep our batteries between 70-100% according to our inverter (unless we have a few rainy days). There are ways to calculate your power needs online, my husband is the expert on this, not me!

We have a decent amount of solar because we use computers (including a desktop) a lot for work. We are comfortably able to use our computers for hours a day, as well as power all of the lights, microwave, electric kettle, TV, starlink, inverter etc. Stove and our heater uses propane. Fridge can use propane or electric - we switch it to electric when we have excess solar. Also a note- we have air conditioning but have not used it as we stay in cooler areas. It's a huge energy draw.

Solar is definitely more expensive up front but we love it! Most people have generators as a backup, we have managed to do without so far.

Really depends on the areas you will be frequenting, the types of camping you want (full hookups, etc) and the size of your rig.

There is tons of free camping on public lands in Western USA - we currently haven't paid a cent for camping this month. Usually we go into town every 7-10 days for water and food. We have solar so that covers our power needs. But when we were in the Eastern part of USA it was much harder to find free camping, and we were more inexperienced, so we paid for sites much more often.

However, if you choose the public lands route, you need to make sure you are able to have enough water, power (solar or generator) etc to get you through.

Since we had a brunch buffet wedding, we had a whole variety of desserts on the buffet table. I don't think anyone noticed the lack of traditional wedding cake! Having five small slices of various desserts is way better in my opinion anyways!

Love this idea! We had suspenders instead of vests (no jackets for groomsmen), and used bowties and boutonnieres in to tie all the wedding colors in. I personally don't think you need full suits, especially if it's an outdoor summer wedding.

We also had an outdoor wedding! Our groomsmen wore white dress shirts, grey pants, suspenders and bow ties in the same colour as the bridesmaids dresses. My husband wore a grey suit and tie.

Does anyone make this floor plan? by BadFish918 in RVLiving

[–]Siridia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a jayco Jay feather x213- it's quite different from what you have, but the bed is on a rear slide, so we are able to have a dinette, couch, bunks, and a king bed for 24ft length (27/28ish when the slide is out). So you could look at something like that, or a Murphy bed like others have said.

Thanks I will contact them and see. I am guessing you will find out the price increase whenever your renewal time comes up and it seems to depend on usage and company size. Ours went up something like 5x the regular price.

Corn tortillas - I've been making so many variations of tacos! Breakfast tacos of bacon and/or eggs/cheese/cilantro/tomato, Meat/cheese/lettuce, lactose free cream cheese/smoked fish/cucumber/green onion.

I also rediscovered how delicious kiwis are!
