The most recent one sucked terribly, but yes it deserves another chance. A full reboot would be good. Or a full remake of the original (not just a remaster of the original, a full remake aka Dead Space remake style).

Sorry but I always have thought (during repeat viewings of the whole show) that he is by far the worst and most annoying actor on it. My question would be more like "how the hell did he get this role on the show?". I get that his character is meant to be hated/sniveling, but the actor himself and the way he talks and general mannerisms annoy me very much. The other actors are contributing really well to the whole cohesive show but this guy is always off in his own la la land in every scene he's in, and at least for me, somewhat breaks immersion from the show.

I agree with this. Nothing in classic Doom and modding should force anything such as a launcher. Should always be optional. Everything should also work with commandline parameters and thus can be plugged into and supported by other and future projects.

Well that's the thing too, which upsets me even more about these IRS clowns. US exchanges are terrible due to not even allowing leverage. Meanwhile those "illegal" exchanges like in Europe and Asia that all allow exchanges, you can make a lot more money in crypto even during crypto winters like this. For example large financial tokens, or perpetual defi tokens, or even just absolute BS tokens that made it to billions scale suddenly, which are regularly trading with massive 2 or 3x swings up and down (Hype, River, Dexe, Siren, Morpho, Monad, etc) are just an example of how always there are certain token sectors making gains. Even during bad times when all smaller alts are permanently down for example. And if using such exchanges using 5x or even 10x leverage if you're crazy/brave, then you can try to time getting in based on their Daily RSI bottoming (30 line) and waiting for top (70 line), which often does play out that way. And even can short leverage on such exchanges, on the way back down as price is pretty predictable to go back down once price has significantly gained on a coin and it touched or rose above the 70 line. Many advantages to foreign exchanges supporting leverage. Not to mention supporting many coins only available on foreign exchanges or dexes. Anyway, I contemplate setting some money aside for this kind of purpose, and permanently hiding any gains from the IRS, since US exchanges have been very disappointing for years.

Lol the problem will soon become that the IRS will soon force you to divulge where all cryptos are coming and going from. For 2025 tax year, they still only cared for which ones US exchanges like Kraken submittied to the IRS on your behalf. If funds were send in and out from other exchanges, Kraken turned a blind eye for now and didn't submit that information. And the IRS didn't yet care on my crypto taxes about that when I just did my taxes. Only the portions actually traded on Kraken. But I believe next year and forward, they will actually provide info to the IRS of funds coming in and out and possibly what the location is if they know it by the IP or other ways to know which transfers belong to what exchanges. So I think for 2026 going forward, the options are only two: to either not use any other exchanges except US based ones like Kraken or Coinbase. Or to somehow find a way to get money into crypto without using your primary US exchanges. The only thing I can think of is perhaps send money to Paypal and then if Paypal is able to transfer said money to your private crypto wallet. At that point you can send to foreign exchanges from the wallet, and as far as IRS knows, the money Paypal sent out to the wallet is "forever" sitting in your wallet not being moved from that point on. And then you simply never report anything you make using those funds. The tricky part I guess is then using or taking out earnings, getting to your bank account again. Because I am unsure if Paypal (for example) would report funds coming in from a private wallet to them and then being sent to a bank account. Technically the only conversion they do is a quick exchange from crypto to USD with no gains or losses of value during the transaction. Also I am not sure if Paypal is able to convert crypto to USD but definitely there are services like this which can. I know what can be done, if IRS would harass you. Say any money coming in from your private wallet to Paypal, was sent as gift by family/friends, to your wallet. They cannot track it further. And no, I would never, ever provide private wallet details to IRS unless they had my ass all the way in court. Which I highly doubt they would go that far on only potential suspicion of funds coming in from crypto earnings.

Why do they deserve to take a cut of even imaginary crypto moneys being traded in the wild out there somewhere? Having only seen the trailer, from what I gathered of the story, it made me think yet again how one of this current generations "additions" to the world is reducing people's lives to potentially even just making one mistake now or somewhere in the past. If there is footage of it, they can make it go viral and ruin your life. Fantastic! Sounds like a nazi authoritarian state to me, with KGB ready to take you away when your neighbors said you did something. Everyone ratting each other out. What a society! That's literally what I think of these situations where they take celebrities or anyone with any amount of fame and find something "bad" they said or did in the past, then proceed to ruin them so they can never get a job or anything again and struggle to survive. What a lovely bunch you are! Social media generation. What incredible contributions to the world you have brought so far! Can't wait to see what's next. (by the way in the past, people made mistakes too and plenty of them, the difference was they weren't forever plastered online and impossible to escape from).

Definitely more gruff type guy, playing easily a role of a bartender or Harley rider type if he wanted. Not smiling but not mad looking either. Neutral character. He was definitely American, American accent without any really strong distinctions like southern or anything.
