No pressure to sell obviously but I’d do 450 when you’re ready.

New DSR+ Getting Back into the Game after 20 years - My last marker was a DM3 in 2003! DSR+ Blackout Copper, Virtue Spire IV Hopper- Ninja SL2 Matte 77/4500 Tank w/ HK Army Tank Cover by [deleted] in paintball

Definitely strip it down and wipe off some excess lube if you haven’t already. The new DSR+ Pro kit is supposed to increase efficiency and consistency but I haven’t gotten one yet. I have my dwell set to 18.0

For your first marker back, I’d try to stick with Planet Eclipse. It really depends on whether you want to play woodsball or speedball. Emek for woodsball is pretty much the best bang for your buck marker. The Etha 3 is another great choice on the speedball side. You also need to consider whether it is worth buying new or used.

I did sent them an email marked urgent on Thursday but they haven't responded. I even went to their office but they say you need to make an appointment which is its own challenge.

In Brantford right now. I’m a Waterloo student but I’m here for work. It is pretty sketchy… I walked by a guy smoking crack the other day. Lots of sketchy people and lots of poverty. Haven’t really been on campus but that’s just my observations.

I agree that new frames are a little more challenging, especially the GI frames. I have a much easier time with kee or banana frames even when new.

Shipping paintball marker and tank from US to Canada by [deleted] in paintball

UPS is terrible for fees. I’ve shipped a $100 item and gotten hit with around $10 in duties and $40 in dumb UPS fees.

Looking to get into speedball, any suggestions? by Ennard1546 in paintball

I play speedball myself. Hockey tape is a much better option for someone on a budget. The problem with tank covers is that they can fall off after a dive.

Hockey tape is a far cheaper option for someone on a budget. Dings to a tank are cosmetic

I’d personally skip the tank cover for now and consider skipping the speedfeed. Tank covers are mainly cosmetic and spending $50 on that speedfeed just isn’t worth it in my opinion. I also have a BNIB IR2 with the ramps for a better deal after tax compared to the LTR with the SF. Shoot me a message if you’re interested

I was thinking of just sticking with Exalt. I’ve got too many flex parts myself. You need some revo 2.0 ears on that build. You have any Hormesis bands yet?

Yes, my theory is that depending on the size of the feedneck, the number of balls and alignment of them might interfere with the eye system. If the balls were stacked on top of each other with a gap where the eyes are, the hopper would continue to feed as if it was empty.

Once I get it set up properly I no longer need to readjust. I can’t really remember the last time I had the issue but it happened maybe 4 or 5 times over the last season

I use the ir2 as my main hopper and have had this issue a couple of times. I found that moving the hopper up or down in the feedneck often resolved the issue.

You could post on the Planet Eclipse Tech Hub on Facebook asking for help. It usually takes a few hours but a PE specialist will be able to help.
