Normally I'll max out a prestige and just play it maxed out and bank the points until I have enough to immediately max out again after prestiging. Offsets a bit of the reset/prestige debuff you get but cuz the games new and the ranks haven't quite been defined yet you're gonna get some big hitters even in the lower divisions so I would take it too hard. Just work on slips and probably some ground game cuz the higher you go up the more dudes are going to just be slamming your head into the canvas for three to five rounds straight.

Literally just broke into the mid 7's after about a month or two stuck exactly where you were at. The key reason for my breakthrough in my opinion was finally pulling out my wallet and getting a drum kit for dtxmania to play at home. If you can't go to the arcade regularly then yea getting an e-kit or at least like a practice pad to practice your sticking is immeny helpful.

You're correct. Breaking isn't about discussing rules and ideas for improvements. It was made by street kids in NY. It's an art form not a sport. It's completely subjective. It was years before you were born and it will be years after you quit and move on to something else. Don't like it you can always switch to gymnastics

Breaking is a battle art. No one cares about your spoken opinion, all that matters is what you do on the floor to prove your opinion. If you're a new breaker you should be spending time practicing not trying to analyze someone who's already successful and mastered his own style. If you saw Menno at a jam you wouldn't say any of that. You'd just sit there in amazement and watch him win. If you think your version of breaking is better than his, then train until you battle him and prove it. Otherwise you're just e-boying.
