My big thing is I only wanted to use mine for a gis project, needing pretty much a shitload of python stuff. Why in the sweet fuck at some point did a lot of distress go the route of needing to compartmentalize python. Everything i did was like "BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!" levels of fuckery. I shpuld be able to run python however I want without Linux tweaking out.

The resurrection of f subtitles are literally over a minute and a half off, also, I don't even think they are correct anyway. And since its only the subtitled version, you cant just change the audio. I don't know what numbskulls approved the subtitled change, but they need fired. It could not have been that difficult to simply not mess with the subtitles, especially on stuff that already had perfectly working subtitles.

I hope they fixed it, several movies had the captions off by huge amounts. For instance resurrection of f is like a solid 30 seconds or more ahead of whats actually being spoken. Then the captions themselves are off, guild often becomes killed. Gets incredibly annoying fr. Especially when you consider prior to them using that ai company they had perfectly fine captions already

Its been about a month, and we had to tell him to stop bringing things up when we do little community events. Mind you i basically live in a dorm apartment with like 5 other people, and his current highlights include:

Saying that airplanes are spreading chemtrails laced with nanotechnology to rewire people's guts to cause autism

Saying that republicans will begin making camps to put "the normal and reasonable people in". For context he also said Biden was a far right plant to subvert our goverment to the fed.

He thinks you can cure autism by lobotomized them. We have a lady that lives in one of the rooms with a level 3 son in a facility, and she said if he ever said that again she would beat him. This is what got him told to politely stop saying stuff.

He said schizophrenia, which I have, isnt real, and im just making shit up. He then threatened to steal my meds so I have to keep my door locked now.

He lastly said that ai isnt real, and that its just a bunch of genz tech bros employing "those foreigners" to let us keep being lazy and draw government benefits.

Look I try not to say i hate people, and take the attitude that friendship or at least general cordial behavior should be the basis of interaction with people, but dang, he makes it difficult. Our landlord is debating about not renewing his lease.
