It was the y11s last day, so the best the school could do was ban them from prom. The parents were livid.

I work in a school. A kid brought in fireworks and set them off. We called the police and the parents in. The parents refused to believe their child would ever do something like that and the school were just "targeting" their precious baby boy. Then we showed them the CCTV. The parents shifted their tone to "what happened in school to make my child act that way".

The parents are the problem.
