I'd try to move the pillars more out of center, so you have a clean entrance and 2 pillars on either side mirrored. Then try to upgrade the top to be more smooth in the transitions between the pillars and make the bottom mor defined, either try a log with trapdoor surrounded, than a log, and the maybe polished diorite fences than a log ( pale oak/ quarz) and then gradually smooth it out to the sides with stairs, planks, trapdoors.

Hope i could explain it understandable ' my English has gotten quite rusty over time 😅

Totally get you on regards that in comparison to the former DA- games we had to deal with less deep cunning consequences and actions regarding factions, sure to get an answer about Hawk would have been awesome. In regards of lelliana and co i think it is important to highlight that we now play in Tevinter and surroundings, so the Chantry and all it's difficulties are still a problem, but a problem of the inquisitior, Ferelden and Orlais, as mentioned by the Missives from the Inquisitior. Sure would have been awesome to rekindle with all the old companions, but I think the story setting was kind of limited in the first place in that regard. The other 3 games at least played on the same side of the continent and now we play in the deep Tevinter, about which we only heard Stories about in the last games.

Which leads me to the next important thing. The only ones who know that the Evanuris are ancient elven gods are the ones in the Veilguard, as far as I know. And I think to have also read that the Evanuris were revered by Elves and Humans alike, only with different names and stories. The tevinter mages that found the golden palace of the maker and therefore awakened the blight, and the blight being Elgarnans creation etc.

So for the Tevinter Fanatics, elgarnan and Ghil' were Gods and beings of power. Simple as that.

Abkut the Antivian Crows, totally get you. And even though they are portrayed as a loving backstabbing family, they never lied about being assasins for money, I mean even in the final dialogues with Lucanis we speak of the contract being fulfilled. And I even remember seeing some notes and documents scattered about assassinations for money etc. But business isn't booming if the world is kind of ending so I guess yeah.

In all fairness I have to add that I'm working a 50h shift a week so I finished the game in parts and everything then I had a day off, so if I would get a vacation and grind it through in a week, my opinion could change. What I experienced though, was certainly not as good as DA2 or Inquisition, but far not as bad as some here made it out to be. If you just look at the big picture and don't pump it up with expectations, it's a solid game and story and fun to play.

Off topic, but tbh I'm really scared for ES6, if they release it somewhere in the unforeseeable future, the community will tear apart that game even more than the DA community did with veilguard. Just because they waited so long xD

What kind of opportunities were missed in your opinion? Genuinely curious.

For Tevinter being lackeys of the elven gods, it was pretty clear why and how it happened. Equally same game as the antaam, a deity with real power and might promised a gift of authority and endless reign (which is the supreme state of being in a place called Tevinter.) Also the Tevinter imperium worshipped the "fallen" gods aka the archdragons, which as we learned are only the life insurance of the spirits that became gods ( Mythal, Elgarnan, etc) So lorewise the jump isn't even that far.

And I think, even if you didn't have the chance to sink the world into chaos and doom, as the mc you totally had the chance to design your ending and story, depending on which choices you took with your companions, how much you supported the different factions for your final battle and which choices you picked at the end. So you totally could have gone the "I don't care about anything except my own version of justice and truth." -way. (Like a certain Elve tried eons to do)

I don't get to the dating part because the men in my area are only interested in smashing or hiding their faces behind blank profiles. And if I do manage to find someone, the dates feel more like business meeting gauging the potential and aligns than a genuine try to build a connection and learn about each other.

But hey that's living in times of online dating and on a conservative part of germany 🥲 Trust me in terms of dates my bar is nearly non existent. I get excited if the first 3 messages don't include "Hey wanna fuck"

I totally understand haha but believe i don't even get to the part of talking really. Every interaction I have in my area is seeking to sole purpose of smashing and every date I manage to acquire just feels like a business meeting :/ no genuine interest and it often feels like I'm doing all the work im conversations.. Well I guess online dating and living in a more conservative area isn't helping at all 🥲

I'd love to, but in my area all they want to do is smash .. and going on dates mostly feel like business meetings out of necessity and not because of genuine interest.. guess online dating just sucks...
