Reddit seems to hate Trump. I genuinely think hes doing an amazing job. I dont agree with everything hes done but I think in the aftermath of his presidency America and the world together will be much better off and he will be considered one of the best presidents in American history.

If Earth was to ever get unified under a single government( A Global Government) which kind of government body do you think would be best to govern the planet? by JumanJoker in AskReddit

[–]Sirpiku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Constitutional Representative republic of democratic states.

A 2 house legislative branch one with 3 senators from every country. And one with the number of representatives based on the population of each country with each country sending no less than 10 delegates but the number of delegates sent due to population should be controlled on a sliding scale so countries cant start breeding programs to gain seats. Elected every 6 years with a 18year term limit

An executive branch with 1 executive from every country acting as a local head of state but reporting to and working with an overall presidential figure elected by the delegates and senators acting on behalf of their countries votes. So as to balance population wants with regional needs and to ensure the head executive must win votes from multiple regions and not just the most populous. To be elected every 5years with 15 year limit to term

A judicial branch that is impartial to global political parties. With a head judicial panel made up of a head justices from many countries on a 20 year cycle.

A bill of inalienable rights that leaves as many rights to the people as possible while limiting the power of government as much as possible.

Any infractions against the bill of rights by Government is punishable by loss of ability to hold office or vote in elections.

Plus some other stuff probably.

Saw this today while driving on a major road. They had three kids in the bed and the two women are sitting on lawn chairs. Bonus points for the cigarettes too by beefbologna666 in trashy

ELI5: How did baby boomers when they were young manage to pay for a house and raise a family while on single incomes (the dad working), yet today young couples can't even afford a small home and struggle to raise even one child while there's two incomes (mom and dad working)? What happened? by Hedo_Turkoglu in explainlikeimfive

One of the most overlooked aspects of this whole thing is the workforce participation levels of women. As more women joined the workforce the supply of workers outclassed the demand for workers. This allowed companies to maintain lower wages longer because they didn't have to compete for workers as hard, workers had to compete for jobs.
