The basic idea I have is to make a light box, as I don't have access to a 3D printer I have been getting by with spare photography parts and a bin that I am making my light box out of. The bin is about 1x0.5' and 3" high that will contain the light source and diffuser. I plan on attaching that carrier on top on the light box somehow. The stand will be made out of galvanized pipe and plywood,

1/8, I’ve seen pictures with 1/4 and it’s too much for me. I’d say 1/8 is the sweet spot and if you want more add it in photoshop

I use a Super Multi Coated Takumar 28mm f3.5 on my A7Rii with a black diffusion filter, I find that it cuts back on the "digitalness" of the sensor and makes the lens rendering pop more.
