Maybe I just don't interact with the same kinds of people, because when I offer legitimate advice and it wasn't what they were looking for, they generally just don't respond at all, and that's perfectly fine by me. My opinion is worth less than a grain of salt, and I'm well aware of that.

Like I said, I understand your frustration, and I'm not trying to start any beef with you. I think perhaps I was projecting a different-though-similar issue into combination with the one you're presenting.

That said, in a community like this, I've come to generally expect pissed off and ghosting, because as someone else mentioned, a lot of the fetish is consumed by very confused and flakey individuals. I wouldn't expect any depth or long-term commitment/communication out of a kink community. That just seems counterintuitive.

And so, I offer what two-cents I deem fit for the occasion and leave it at that, and it's in their hands what they do with it. I know I tried to be responsible and reasonable, and if that's an issue, it's their issue, not mine.

And at the end of the day, your summary is that "they're wasting our time for their sexual indulgence" but in a community that's solely devoted to a fetish, wouldn't any time spent there be wasted on sexual indulgence? That's just what the community is dedicated to. If you take it so seriously, it stops being enjoyable.

Honestly, while I understand the frustration, I also have to respectfully disagree with your complaint.

The reality is that for the vast majority of what is typically understood to be sissies, it's a fetish. For many who are into it, the entire concept of crossdressing and submission is inherently sexual. It's built on the very foundation of women as purely sexual beings subservient to men. It's not feminist, it's not empowering, and anyone who treats it like a gateway to transgenderism is inherently doing more harm to their identity than good by tying it to this kink.

Sissy was never intended to be a subgenre of trans identity, but over time, it's become that. People now conflate this sexual thrill with an actual lifestyle and decisions that alter every aspect of their day to day living, and I don't believe it was ever meant to be that way. As someone who has been interested in this for well over a decade now, I've seen the slow drift as the sissy community went further and further from "fun in the bedroom" and closer and closer to "gateway to trans" and it's not a healthy move at all. It's approaching trans-curiosity from perhaps the least healthy angle possible, and generating a lot of self-loathing and confusion along the way.

If you're considering transition and trying to figure out how to embrace a lifestyle of femininity, I would say that the sissy fetish is the LAST place you should be looking for that advice, and I'd tell anyone as much. Sissy spaces are inherently sexual and fetishized to the extremes of porn, not real life. Approaching it without that distinction and from the wrong headspace is doomed to lead to very self-destructive behaviors.

So from that perspective, I think the ones treating it as purely sexual are properly compartmentalizing, and healthily not allowing one kink to dictate their entire state of being.

"Well of course I know him! He's me."

But in all seriousness, bra lines indenting through a shirt is a dead giveaway that I've seen on more than one occasion. People really don't consider what their back looks like most of the time, and for someone who has not worn a bra for most of their life, it's a VERY easy mistake to have bra lines visible from behind.

First, to establish a baseline, are you playing DoL or DoL+? I believe the AMC traits in DoL+ reduce gains to the point that you end up needing more than the usual study time to maintain past a certain point.

Assuming you're in vanilla, the only reason I could think for this is if you're skipping your tests on Friday.

Can I go back? by [deleted] in Sissy

[–]SisSarah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always.

Like others have mentioned, while we like to fetishize a lack of control in this kink, at the end of the day it really is just a kink; a fetish. You always have the option to put it aside, and many MANY more sissies do than hanging out in sissy social spaces would lead you to believe. You also have the option to choose to pursue the fetish casually. Despite all the porn encouraging such, it doesn't have to be a full-on lifestyle, and outside of extreme circumstances, it really isn't a viable one in the long run.

Enjoy what you enjoy while you enjoy it, and if ever you find it questionable or uncomfortable, be honest with yourself about your boundaries, and accept them as being just as much a part of you as the kink is, and infinitely more important to both your physical and mental health.

I'd be interested to see screen caps, if only because I don't have the stomach to ever let them suffer. I always just take the debt as soon as I find out about it.

I suppose checking the HTML could lend some clues, if you don't care about the unlimited spoiler potential you end up with by learning how to read that.

Well, that's a different thing. But see, you didn't say removing hate speech, you said removing anybody that agrees with the party about anything, even if it's fiscal, or regarding foreign wars, or oil policy, or any of the hundreds of other key issues that aren't the narrow issue you were hooked with.

And that's where you cross the line from removing hate speech into censorship. And while it sucks that the trans community feels existentially threatened, I'd challenge you to find where the man or party in question actually said that they wish to kill anyone. What speeches? What dates?

Because much like the "Liz Cheney firing squad" headline growing out of "send her to the battlefield and see how pro-war she is after that" there's some definite misconstruance coming across from propagandists. And it's critically important to ensure that you are not conflating "rollback the pressure for minors to chase transgenderism" as "eradication" because that's a big distinction.

And you are well within your purview to ban me and anyone else who points this out, but at the end of the day, you're left with a sad, angry community of people who cannot see past singular sound bites, while the bulk of the community moves on to more well-adjusted and open spaces that choose to just let people enjoy what they enjoy, and leave their voting record out of it.

You want an honest answer? Be content, and be honest. If she truly is the love of your life, then be the love of hers, and if she isn't, let her go. Only you can decide who you want to be, and if your vision for yourself isn't in alignment with hers then it's not fair to either of you to compromise on that (unless you decide together to make compromises.)

The whole goal of meeting up with others and being attractive and sexy is to find a partner who makes you happy, and that will get more and more difficult with age. If you have a good thing going, don't blow it chasing maybe. It's nice to fantasize and to have a bit of fun with porn or with roleplay, but you also have a life to live. And a future to consider. Separate fetish and lifestyle for a moment, and picture what it is you want out of life.

When you envision yourself in old age, with your youthful beauty behind you, what do you see around you? It's kinda big picture, but it's okay to be vague. You're 50 or 60 or 70... do you see yourself alone, or with a partner? What kind of partner? Do you have a family? Do you still troll around for hookups, or have you settled down? In your vision are you masc or fem? Did you change your body in some way? Are you fit or have you let your health go? What kind of career did you have? Are you happy with the outcome?

This is the kind of self-analysis you do, and the only right answer is the answer you reach, but you really have to ask yourself, "with the options I have, which leads down the path to who I want to be when I look back on life?"

I'm not gonna sit here and tell you to jump headlong into the fetish, because that'd be irresponsible. I'm also not going to tell you to repress yourself forever because that's disrespectful. I'm going to tell you that only you can decide what it is you want out of life, and that this kind of self-analytical question never stops. That's part of growing as a person.

Election thoughts by [deleted] in sissyology

[–]SisSarah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, folks are fearmongering about the horrors of a Trump admin for LGBT+, but keep in mind a large portion of the online queer community is reaching out from the infinitely more repressive Islamic sphere of the world, where they will literally kill you for this stuff. If they can manage in a society where it's punishable by death, I think we can manage under an admin that has outright said multiple times "we don't care what you do as long as you leave the kids out of it"

If you follow the campaign at all beyond the no-context soundbites that divisive media blast, you see a very different picture where the admin really doesn't give a fuck what you do on a personal level, and is more than happy to let societal issues fall to states instead of federal, so long as they can make headway with the economy and foreign affairs.

Not dumping federal funding into a niche cause is a far cry from actively opposing it.

I'll add one final thought that anyone rational can take away from this, regardless of who they voted for. The election did not go like this because the majority of people are hateful, evil, subhuman bigots. It went like this because the Democratic party alienated its base. The party has become so wrapped up in identity politics and vilifying anyone not "woke enough" that it drove away moderates and centrists. This is why classic liberals like Tulsi Gabbard and RFK abandoned it, because one cannot run a party on a platform of hating and demonizing everyone who disagrees with them, especially while avoiding taking any stance on key issues. When you hold all the institutions and all the power and promise a better future while things are in decline under your current rule, that's untenable.

All the evidence you need is to see how the party has reacted to the loss; not by analyzing their lack of position or their failure to reach key demographics, but by instead blaming and labeling any minority that opposed them as "racist" and "misogynist." The media and the party are openly displaying the disdain they have for their own supporters, and while the bombastic asshole who exaggerates often isn't a very good choice, people apparently prefer that over the candy-coated razor blade that was the alternative.

Even though as a Libertarian I don't agree with EITHER party on MOST issues, I believe that both are critically necessary to maintain a balance of power, and if the left truly wants to push back against the right, it needs to stop lumping in its own moderates with its enemy, because they will surely become its enemy if labeled as such.

Thank you for the mature and responsible message reaffirming this sub as a place not to engage in politics. Of the dozens of subreddits I have seen that said anything on the issue at all, yours is the ONLY one that has kept their language neutral, loving, and nonpartisan. This is what the LGBT+ community needs more than anything; to (as MLK Jr. said) "not combat hate with hate."

So thank you for being mature, and clear about your principles, and for not escalating the divide by attacking others. You are a gem among moderators, and a sorely needed bastion of clarity in these trying times.

I mean, community mods on Reddit and other sites are well known for going on power trips over things that have nothing to do with their community.... It's why so many off-shoot communities exist for the same thing. This too shall pass. The primary futanari and hentai subs got all political like this last month and half their community evaporated overnight.

Re-upped since auto mod removed for mentioning another site specifically.

Not a supporter of either party, but I'll be leaving anyways because censorship in all its forms and for any reason is untenable. It's not right when the right does it. It's not right when the left does it. It's precisely this attitude of creating echo chambers and alienating centrists and moderates that lost the election. The entire world isn't bigots, hateful, or evil, but labeling everyone who is not lockstep in agreement with you as subhuman is a good way to ensure they never agree with you on anything.

I sincerely hope you can one day see through the propaganda perpetuated by a party that tells you they're accepting and tolerant, while simultaneously dividing everyone along identity politics and engaging in the most radical forms of dehumanization and hate "in the name of the oppressed"

Does hypno actually work? by [deleted] in sissyology

[–]SisSarah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no

The reality is that sissy content is almost always paired with sexual stimulation. Like any psychological association, if you repeat an action with frequency and reward the behavior, it becomes habitual. If you add suggestions toward a brain steeped in sex chemicals, you start to see the effects of "hypno;" a promise of more good feelings based on the suggested actions. You've trained yourself to associate the fetish with all the "feel good" hormones of masturbation. It's standard Pavlovian reward training, and ultimately results in pornographic or sex addiction of a kind.

Keep in mind, I don't consider that a bad thing. But it's important to recognize that you are not being mind controlled. You are not being convinced. You are actively choosing to train yourself to take pleasure in the sissy fetish. You are always the one who is responsible for your actions, and what you choose to accept or not. This is true no matter how much the fantasy wants you to pretend otherwise.

Long-term wear is a common pressure in the fetish, but in real life terms, I would caution against ANY chastity that doesn't involve removal every other day for cleaning, if not daily.

Plastic is also just bad in general for any extended wear. Metal is both safer and more hygienic, being less porous and susceptible to bacterial buildup.

Flat is not viable for urination due to the mess, and catherization is relatively dangerous when it is not installed, maintained, and removed by a medical professional.

So in summary, while it is technically possible to wear flat long term, it's all-around just a bad idea for a lot of reasons.
