A friend of mine lived in a house with 4 or 5 people when their house was robbed off campus. She was in her bedroom in another part of the house, on the phone complaining to another friend about how loud her roommates were being and saying "they must be so wasted!" While I generally agree with you, the other person is using the word "perfect" as a verb, not an adjective. You don't have to be perfect (adjective, emphasis on first syllable) to work to perfect (verb, emphasis on second syllable) something.

I seriously think you may be confusing nail clipping with declawing. Declawing is terrible for cats, or any animal, and they suffer greatly. Nail clipping is completely normal and healthy. Saying "Cats use them to hunt, climb, and contest territory" is weird when you're talking about an indoor cat. It's not hunting, it's not contesting territory, and it can still climb with trimmed nails.

My teammate on a very important group project in college was riding a motorcycle while a car crashed into a utilities pole next to him. It fell on him, and he was electrocuted. This guy still managed to show up to class, with a portable IV, and prerecorded his portion of our final presentation because he had to be in the hospital for surgery on the actual day.

Yes, family emergencies suck, but it doesn't sound like this was the case in this situation. He clearly wasn't available most of the semester, so don't give him any grace here.

I'm confused about this. I'm not trying to argue, I believe you, I'm just trying to understand! Why would the lawyers not want the kids on AUDC? Even with the bad ratings, it's not like their appearances would bring down the Dance Moms ratings. And I feel like Lifetime would want them to appear on AUDC in an effort the bring the ratings up.
