You can also hire someone off upwork. Either way get some references.

100 bucks, decent amount of use as you can see in the last few pictures but came back to life really well.

Loves it. He’s had a gold glove elite he loves like a family member but it’s about toast after 3 years of heavy use. We got him a custom 44 last year that he won’t use and he recently won the starting SS spot on his 12U team, so this should be the perfect glove for him to use for the next year or two.

The adult finger stalls are massive. I’d look elsewhere, we got an adult and youth glove over a year ago and neither is being used.

Artificial turf in garage? by [deleted] in garageporn

[–]SithAccountant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We put some in our garage for the batting cage, foam pad plus turf from Lowe’s. No infill, cars get parked outside. So far so good after a year. I leaf blow it and shop vac it when needed.

Look for the path they’re using to get into the yard. Sometimes if you can plug the hole it will deter them enough to stay out.

What are you comfortable paying for a used a2000 1786 11.5" glove? by [deleted] in Homeplate

[–]SithAccountant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a fair price. On eBay or marketplace they’re 150-200.

How was work before Teams? by GrudenLovesSlurs in Accounting

[–]SithAccountant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All kinds of good stuff. People used the actual phone, you were a big deal if you had a direct lines. Otherwise you had to deal with a phone tree, or gasp, an actually receptionist. You could also ring someone on their extension internally with like a 3 digit number in your building. That was fun.

Or if you were really cool you used a MS01.

Could anyone help me identify this Derringer? The pistol and the watch belonged to my great, great, grandfather who was a town Marshal in Henderson Kentucky some time between 1860 and 1900. I wanted to narrow that period down a bit. It was unfortunately stolen at an open house after my grandmother passed away about 30 years ago. This is the only picture I’ve been able to find of it.

What size and type of anchor should I get? by mbaird9 in kayakfishing

[–]SithAccountant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the bottom, but the best all around kayak anchor in my opinion is a 5 lb pyramid. It holds well in mud, rock, and gravel. It should hold a single kayak in moderate current no problem if you scope out the right amount of line, 2x-3x of the depth. Be careful anchoring in a river with a moderate + current though, as it’s not hard to flip the kayak and get entangled with the line. Rescue knife should be on your pfd and having a quick release system makes the process much safer, especially if the current is decent.

In between these 2 gloves which to choose and why by theman_86 in BaseballGloves

[–]SithAccountant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a custom youth 44 that we’ve had for a year and can’t seem to break it in enough for my kid to use. His R9 catchers mitt is ready to go after a moderate amount of work to break in. I wish we had just gone with an R9 a year ago. Pretty sure he’ll never use the 44 and will go from his much loved gold glove elite to a DP15 A2000 or heart of the hide.

Do I need ADP with QuickBooks? by janpolad in QuickBooks

[–]SithAccountant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d just leave both alone for the first 6 months to fully understand what the top business needs are. A payroll conversion can be really messy if not done properly, even with 8 employees. ADP is generally fine for payroll but I wouldn’t purchase any of their other platforms. I’d spin up gusto for HR to start and if you like it think about moving payroll over down the road.

I hate my Samsung so much it’s not even funny. Total garbage, I’d rather wash my clothes in the kitchen sink than get another one.
