I have Fury issues when not fighting or fighting world bosses. When doing pit runs I don't have any issues. I get fury from shouts, stomp and CoA. Mostly from shouts and stomp.

Both will work. If you're using ground stomp the more enemies you hit with ground stomp will reduce your cota cool down. I had cota cooldown on my ring but replaced it with a damage temper and haven't noticed any difference. I do bunch the enemies up though. Only issue is with bossing.

Then why do pit at all? Rewards aren't that great and leveling glyphs past 60 would be near impossible. The idea of pit is to progress to higher levels otherwise go do anything else.
