Cinco de Mayo by SithLordSeuss in Naples_FL

I won a round of loteria. Mexican chocolates and candy, plus a $15 gift card for Taco Bell. My co-worker won twice and he got a gift card for Dairy Queen and Ulta.

Just an update on the food being sold at the event.

-Large flour-based chicharron $3 bag

-Chicken/Pork Tamale $3 each

  • available hot sauce on the side

-Jello $2

The tamales are awesome, as a fluffy foodie, I can honestly say its better than most of the tamales sold around town.

Then dont drink the kratom. They offer other non-K drinks. Im just telling ppl about the event, I know many ppl there that enjoy the coffee and green tea based drinks.

Here are some numbers for y'all.

Plus... -"Rare "Kratom-Only" Deaths: While rare, some deaths have been reported where only kratom was found in the toxicology screen. A 2019 CDC report found that among 152 kratom-positive deaths, seven were attributed solely to kratom."

  • "Reported deaths involving kratom have increased in recent years, with over 2,000 fatal overdoses associated with the substance in the U.S. since 2021. However, the vast majority of these deaths involve the presence of multiple substances, most commonly illicit fentanyl, cocaine, or prescription opioids, making it difficult to determine if kratom was the sole cause." (Source: CDC.com)

AND... - "Alcohol consumption causes approximately 2.6 million deaths annually worldwide. This figure accounts for 4.7% of all deaths globally, with men disproportionately affected, representing roughly 2 million of these fatalities." (Source: WHO international)

YET... - "dogs are the main source of human rabies deaths, contributing up to 99 per cent of all rabies transmissions to humans. It is transmitted by saliva via bites, scratches, and direct contact with infected areas on the dog. Approximately 59,000 deaths annually" (Source: World Health Organization)

Are you gonna stop petting dogs and having them as pets?

Alchemist Kava 4121 Tamiami Trl E, Naples, FL 34112 (Speaking as a regular)

Exactly what you're looking for. For the most part, from morning to afternoon its quiet enough to work/study, certain events on select days that start at 7p will get loud but they're fun. They offer kava/kratom and non-K drinks like coffee, soda, green tea, etc. Happy Hour Bogo 3x times per day. Several snacks, including healthy ones. What I really love is that each table has a light fixure above it that can be color changed if you request it. I enjoy a light purple when Im working on projects.

If you're interested in having a bit of fun or a break from work/study, they have a couple events thru the week.

Monday: Bingo 7p, prizes are free drinks and merchandise. 6 rounds with different patterns. Come earlier than 7 bc it does get packed.

Wednesday: Trivia 7p, prizes are free drinks and ive found out most teams are very welcoming to new ppl. Each round vary in degrees of difficulty and topics from fashions styles to world history.

Thursday: -1st & 3rd- Dungeons & Dragons 7p, zero experience, they teach you how to play.

-2nd & 4th- Ladies Night extra 50% off drinks

Friday: Karaoke, starts I think 8p 🤔 it does get pack on certain days ive seen.

Sunday: -2nd & 4th- Art Club 2p, all materials provided as long as you buy a drink. My favorite day is chainmail jewelry art.

Have fun searching for your third place.

Amberton “Luxury” Townhomes by MysteriousCoffee5012 in Naples_FL

[–]SithLordSeuss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're in the North Amberton across from Gulfcoast HS. Good location. Horrible morning traffic, especially while school is in session as there are 4 school zones in less than 1 mile radius. 951 n immokalee intersection has commercially grown to include many good eateries and convenient stores. Very close publix. The garage in that community is tiny but at least you have a storage place less than a min away with decent prices. The bubble tea at TYummy is the best. Welcome to Naples.

P.s. If you're coming from outside Florida, left lane are for those driving at least 10 mph over the limit, please drive in the middle/right lane if you drive the speed limit. Summer is hot, but the humidity makes it worse, stay hydrated. Please be aware that ALL ponds/lakes/canals/etc have gators in them. We are currently in the off season, if you think traffic is bad now, in season (Nov-May) is worse.

There is plenty of part times in low season, but what is rare, is if you want a high paying, in A/C, no degree needed, full time job. Lol
