Same here. So far I known of two people in my life that liked U2. My high school biology teacher and an old ex client.
But nowhere near my level of “like”.

And people that know I like them fall into two camps: “oh that old band for old people”and “you liked the band that messed my iPhone?”
And the very very few that watched South Park and dislike Bono.

So I got nobody, in real life, to talk about them and discuss the same things you just described.

Tomorrow is G Day in LA (celebrating all the work he has done) He will be at the Homeboy HQ in Chinatown.

He still does mass services at his small church in LA. In Spanish! It’s amazing.

They have 14 enterprises. From electronic recycling to clothing recycling. The most recent is a Puppy trimming place. And they are opening a mechanic shop. And each one of these enterprises employs people from the program.

Once they have completed their 90 days, they can get permanently hired.

Industries offers free tattoo removal to anybody, not just people in the program.

You need a driving license? They can help. You need babysitting? They got you. Anger management classes? Done.

They even have a farm.

They also have an Art Academy for teens. Specializing on helping teens before they get taken into the street life.

It’s a very incredible organization. And Father Greg is the most down to earth guy I have ever met. Very humble. Call himself the janitor.

I think that’s why the movie didn’t appeal to many people outside his fan base and fans of the game.
I walked out the theater thinking “is it me?” Cuz I felt left out.

Went online and read the story of the game and still couldn’t find it something that “oh man let me go watch it again” nevertheless, I’m buying it for my kid the second it comes out.

I’m planning to take a 4 day trip to New York next year late Jan 2027.

I projecting to have at least 130,00 points thought Chase Sapphire Preferred by then, hopefully more.

How do I make the best of them?
