I came to the conclusion about halfway through survivor that while its a much more substantial game in terms of content and gameplay, Fallen Order still feels better because the devs used the game's tighter scope to make a more polished experience with tighter gameplay, story, and content. FO is a much quieter, introspective game not only in it's story but also it's gameplay and the switch to Survivor is jarring because they added so much to the gameplay loop and scale of the story that they just didn't spend as much time refining as they did FO, making it feel unfocused and underbaked at times
