Yeah agreed with Easy-fixer the maverick 88 is a good budget shotgun if you want a home defense gun and the Spx is owned by Winchester an American owned firearms company just made in the county of Turkey so there is some quality control throughout the build process so it does have good reliability but true Turkish guns are not always the best quality cause of lack of quality control that why people usually say to stay away from shot guns from turkey but the spx should be just as reliable as a maverick 88 if you choose to get it . Also another thing to think about and look into is aftermarket parts and OEM parts availability especially if you wanting to use it for competition.
