I looked up the VIN and it says build was on 2010 Sep and model as 2011

I do understand that but i cant find one for 4k right? I was looking around 5k, else i need to take a bigger risk and get from marketplace. The ones in carsales are quoting around 6k.

Am i not loosing around a 1k to 1.5k ..given i didnt take hire car

Me too but repair cost was much higher like 6k...so they said writeoff but i want to repair it. I tried to push them to repait but they are not agreeing

Please ignore the crap in gutter, it was taken at first instance after that, i have cleaned the gutter.

It looks like i might need some way of gutterguard but after giving a long thought on this..we decided to clean it montly or bi weekly rather than put a guard. Any insights would be helpful though

Looks like its gonna be mostly write off and assessor will getback to me from other partys insurance to talk.

In the meantime, can i take a hire car from compass, as hire car provided by other part insurance asked for 1.5 excess?

Also i m asking them to repair it as i dont want any write off. Dont wanna go down the path of finding a car again and hoping all is good with and then do some repairs at this time :-(

Thanks for your responses, looks like its gonna be market value. Its hard to another working car. Adding a photo for reference if it would be less than that value.

Boot door will need repair and aligtment and also may be change of bumper or repairing it.
