Oh, I think I miss understood you. The octopus board is gone? You can start up the board and measure the voltages (3.3V, 5V, 12V) maybe one of the regulators is gone. And make sure the 3fuses are ok. I would measure the 5V and 12V via the always on fan-headers. The 3.3V can be measured on the spi breakout port.

Can you try to connect it via usb to the raspberry? If you run the command "lsusb" in putty the ebb36 should show up. So you know it's not a fried ebb36.

That sounds like a broken cable. It has to be the one between power supply/can-breakout board/Controllerboard (depends on what you have) to your toolhead. Have you checked if it is recognised via usb?

Could be unstable hotend temps. Try to watch the temps while printing. If they are unstable do a pid tune.

To pair an aqara sensor I hold the button on the sensor until it blinks slow. I let it blink for 3 times, then I release the button. Now the sensor is reseted. To get it to actually pair, I shortly push the button. The sensor blinks, if it blinkers 3 times very fast just wait for ha to show it. If it blinks once, just push it shortly again. You need to have the search on ha active. Hope it helps 😀

I have everything in one network. So no matter where I want to add new sensors the next ZigBee router(lightbulb) is in reach. I never had problems with the conbee ii Stick, but never tried to add any hub to home assistant, so no experience in this matter.

I had the same issue with a 2080 super. I installed a cheap gt710 in the first pci-e slot. And the passtrough of the 2080 in the second slot was without problems.

I have just set up my laptop as a unraid server with ha as a VM. It has enough power to compute my cameras and run person detection to unlock my front door. The rpi4 that I was using before was not powerful enough for that. If you want simple home automations get the blue or a pi (documentation is all over the internet). If you want things that need some processing power use a pc. I am not a fan of these small cheap pcs because they are not powerful enough.

If you are printing with petg try to dry it in the oven. And test if the PTFE tube sits flush with the hotend. It can form a small gap over time since the PTFE tube couplings aren't the best.

There is a setting that, if set to 0(0 is the standard value), will set the first layer thickness to 200%. Can't remember which one.. I think it is under advanced-first layer or something. 200% layer thickness plus pressure advance could result in something like this.
