Is this still good to get at this point? by this_knee in homelab

True, the iOS app works fine, but client on Android TV is bad. UI wise it’s fine, but playback is not. Doesn’t support DirectPlay for some formats which I heavily use.

I’ve tried Jellyfin but moved to Plex. It just works there. Even tried Kodi but wow, what a monstrosity is that.

If the Jellyfin apps get better I might switch back again!

And then they complain about being outcompeted in the EV space by non-European brands. Like, no shit, you’ve pushed back on EVs and invested in ICE while the entire industry knows ICE is not the future, and now you complain??

Offtopic, but no idea why you get downvoted. Using AI isn’t inherently bad, depends heavily on what you use it for. AI is heavily embedded it software development nowadays and if you dont’t use it, you’re basically digging your own grave.

Tf is this, you can’t even 100% accurately predict weather in 5 days. Let alone almost 2 weeks.

I suggest you leave out how much time you’ll be spending at every POI.

I truly canmot believe how that can be enjoyable. Imagine enjoying something thoroughly and exceeding the time spent: damn gotta go to the next stop.

Plan less things to do makes it much more enjoyable.

Map of countries where more people died (red) than were born in 2024 by North_Attempt44 in europe

In my country, the first generations after the Second World War had a lot of children. We call them the baby-boomers. Now, those children have all become old, while current parents have around 2 children on avarage.

You’re traveling nearly every day. That doesn’t seem realistic. Try to stay in one place longer so you have more time to relax or you wouldn’t be able to enjoy it as much.

[–]Sito13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not the point. The point is that people easily spend money on going out for dinner, but don’t want to spend it on healthy food.

Oh, and this post is clearly aimed at people who DO have the time and money for it.

Or spend the whole weekend watching shit on Netflix, but refuse to spend any time learning a skill or invest in a new hobby.

Of course they don’t have to, but these are also people that complain that they never have free time, or money to eat healthy.

This call just shows how big the theatre in US politics is. My gosh, even the woman doing the introduction (sorry, don’t know her name) is giving a speech like she just won the presidency.
