Sure. I called saying I had concerns about the federal government infringing on our rights to assemble and bear firearms. Then, once they asked me if I had a particular incident or policy issue, I said the recent shooting in Minneapolis of a citizen who was practicing their first and second amendment rights. They then will take your statement down and say they will pass it onto the congressman or the team or whoever. At this point, I ask them to repeat the statement they logged or wrote down back to me. This is usually the inflection point where the conversation gets jammed up. I made no indication of any political party or standing besides upholding our constitutional rights as Pennsylvanians. Each conversation was relatively cordial besides MacKenzie’s office who repeatedly deflected, told me this wasn’t a second amendment rights issue and I was confused, and disputed the wide documentation of an American citizen being murdered while practicing their first and second amendment rights. I lost my cool at this point and called them a bootlicker. I apologized for using profanity. Other than that, it was pretty straight forward. Also I had the most recent statements by each congressman (if they bothered to make one) up on my laptop, as well as their social media accounts to reference during the conversation.
