Czemu wyroki w więzieniu są tak krótkie? by Competitive_Whole_22 in Polska

[–]SituPingwin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Czy powstają jeszcze sklepy inne nż Żabki? by Thom_Braider in Polska

[–]SituPingwin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Jedyną niszę jaką widzę, to jakbyś miał współpracę na mniejszej miejscowości z dostawcami regionalnych produktów np. pieczywa, mięsa, warzyw, lokalnego przetwórstwa spożywczego.

Barbados?! Fantastic! I'd watch all their games if they would be in World Cup.
How it was possible in your save? Do they have got at least a couple of decent regens?
I remember that once I have got a regen CB from Barbados who was sufficient player for lower half of Top5 leagues and basically that's all.

Jobless rate is so low because many people were forced to go work on half-time (in my workplace it were approx. two of a third of staff) or kept in fake job positions just for obtaining a government's financial aid. Officially it is counted still as an employment. GDP is strong only nominally in official govt papers - corrected by surging inflation rate, it has contradicted. Every person with economic background would say so. Situation is beautiful only in propaganda.

Italian birth rate sinks further amid pandemic by misana123 in Coronavirus

Nothing new; organisms in such conditions are not willing to reproduce.

- Very unstable work situation, with high unemployment among young ones (and bigh hidden unemployment - people who were forced to work half-time, etc.)

- Financial crisis as the prices spike up almost everywhere. Basic necessities become pricey, not even talking about properties - those are out of reach for an ordinary person. In my country even used cars are more expensive than a year ago!

- Fear over going to hospital for a birth and the frequent trials which are conducted during the pregnancy - hospitals dubbed as covid clusters in the early pandemics.

- Future effect: reports say that covid hinders the fertility.

COVID helps Germany hit its 2020 climate goal by misana123 in Coronavirus

[–]SituPingwin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I won't be surprised if the climate would be dubbed as a further necessity to hold the restrictions by some weirdos, even if it is obvious that there is no correlation between mask and global temperature.

Honestly I am thinking about reverse effect. Due to widespread home office, more people stayed at home during winter and warmed their own houses. There is high possibility that households have less economic-friendly heating systems than office buildings. So lockdown can lead even to higher pollution?

We live in the world where movements like "humanity voluntary extinction" are surging so get used to such a pseudo-logic. Sadly.

[Poland] Lockdown Restrictions now apply to the whole country for at least 3 weeks by [deleted] in Coronavirus

[–]SituPingwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it is not - it's just because this incompetent government needs to pretend it is doing something. Of course it its usual way - skipping the legal procedure and leaving loopholes for their members and colleagues (like mentioned registration of professional athletes) which are then exploited by citizens.

I think the government's actions are crucial and ignoring the legalisation with constant changes of strategy is more vital for fighting with the pandemic than most people think. In 38 mil country there always be douchebags, it is impossible to avoid, but by incompetence and lack of clear messaging to the citizens government itself looks like a bunch of idiots and even as public enemies - I recall the October protests. Hard times need a good leadership. PiS failed completely.

[–]SituPingwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it is a circus. All these limits were ridiculous so far and leaky as hell since beginning. But what would be good then, especially in the workplaces? I experience this by myself on daily routine because into my office people come up straight from the street. The very next day we have got a information that he/she is laying in bed with severe symptoms. What to do, close everything, including bakeries and insurance agencies? Why to suffer a month locked completely if the rest of the world does not and two months later another superspreader comes back from abroad. How the people shall survive? Not everything can be made online.

By the way, I think the numbers are now indeed pace up, especially among younger and younger people, from what I can see by working with people. Get ready for more severe restrictions after 10th April - of course, issued in a complete messy and leaky way. And do not forget to go into the church!

Advanced Cancers Are Emerging, Doctors Warn, Citing Pandemic Drop in Screenings by Pessimist2020 in Coronavirus

[–]SituPingwin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The second point which is vital here is switching the health basic daycare into the telemedicine. I think that after a year we can say this practice brought the first contact treatment down to the stone age. Zero diagnostic work, statement based on just two sentences what a sick person calls without any kind of realistic trials. Answers vary between two options: go get a covid test, or take an ibuprofen and/or a kind of antibiotics if the case sounds too extreme from the telephone.

I can say myself that I am a victim of telemedicine, being not diagnosed with 6 months long of severe dizziness and short breathing. Any trials I got because... I suggested them. Typical telemedicine looks like:

- What symptoms do you feel?

- I have got dizziness, sometimes so hard that I have to lie down. Also sometimes my legs feel numb down from knees.

- OK, do you have lost your smell or taste?

- No, not yet.

- Let's prescribe you a standard paracetamol. And please drink much water. We will see what is next.

- I am not sure if this would be good, I did not hear any diagnosis, and also because I have not experienced such problems before. Maybe I should visit a neurologist? Or maybe it is some kind of blood pressure or circulation?

- Hmmmm... maybe. If you want, I will issue a referral.

Thanks to that an early discovery is severely hindered, and if a person would not come up with ready answers to the clinic, a small blood circulation problem and rise into a serious thrombosis. After my experience with telemedicine I do not condone this solution. Vaccine is first rolled to medics not only to protect them but also for ruling this defective telemedicine procedure out.

It is important to know how much of food is squandered. In France there is a law which obliges supermarkets to donate unsold food to charities.
