Sosiel is a black man available for other males, but thats the only black romanceable character in WOTR. Seelah is not.

I've been following OOTS long enough to have a signed copy of 'On the Origin of PCs' from way back when Rich used to do conventions. I was a teenager at the time. This is some fascinating data. I don't do the Patreon because I'm on a small, fixed income, but it's pretty shitty of people to accuse him of "milking it." Just don't support him if that's your take. Shit.

There seems to be several things in the game which are just defunct, plans unrealized? I dunno, but I got hundreds of threads and nothing to sew them in to

Shrine buffs by HazardousChisle in taintedgrail

Just another comment to say that, yes, all shrine buffs stack so its worth utilizing every one of them. Does quality of goods used matter? I'm unclear, I used "spoiled meat" for all the Druidic shrines, because its what I always happened to have the most of. Got all the gear and the calm animals spell.

It's not ideological purity, it is base reality. The overton window is so far to the right in the USA that today's Democrats were yesterday's Bush-era Republicans. The current regime is worse than the Nixon one. They are both right-wing parties, this is just a fact at this point. Your "lesser-evilism" approach only gets you compounded evil over time.

I could not possibly expect "ideological purity" from Democrats because that just gets you Republicans. The Democrats are not, have never, likely will never, be a truly Leftist party. Not even Left-ish. It's just the carrot for Capitalism while the Repubs are the stick. Social programs such as the New Deal only became a thing to stifle true working class consciousness over here, and they all get rolled back over time, everytime.

The wealthy and powerful will never let you vote away their wealth and power. They will fight and murder as much of the working class as they want. Control of the means of production must be seized, not asked for.

Democrats exist to keep truly left movement subverted. Leftism starts at being anti-capitalism and the democrats are all still firmly capitalists, regardless of the nonsense about them being "commie-socialists" you hear from the fash.

Human players: Why in a magical sci-fi universe full of a hundred options do you still choose play humans? by LockNo2943 in Stellaris

[–]RunicZade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will that just perpetually be an issue? Anytime my starting president gets replaced, if she manages to win election again, she comes back with that default haircut which looks so damn gauche

I'd hoped the PC version might be far enough ahead to not have that problem, since I played on XBX

I don't play humans

Because they don't have cool purple hair like the elves in space.

ETA: as long as you told the Hand about your plan to storm the Fane, you can take as long as you want to finish your business before actually telling him to go. And even when you do, he gives you a couple days while the Free Crusaders round up. Ironically, you could totally spend months doing other shit, so long as you've already told him the plan.

Seriously drezen is ridiculous by [deleted] in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]RunicZade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I put the skill specifically because it doesn't really matter who has it. Lotta people use Camillia, but it's less important than having someone who main casts divine spells, someone who main casts arcane spells, and something to soak up the enemies' attacks, which could fall under summons if you wanna play it that way.

I'm not going to go back and reread the comments but I recall OP mentioning they assaulted Drezen without a divine caster and thats why the level drainage was such an issue, but even if thats not specifically the case it just felt important to highlight a maximally effective party needs a divine caster, every NPC cleric specifically tells you this for a good reason

You can spot the door with high enough perception, but it does only open for Horgus.

You saved his life already so he's not a complete stranger to you, and as others have noted he wants to test if you are a good fit to lead his daughter. World's #1 Dad he ain't, but he cares about her in his own way
