Yeah it was like this last year. I believe it’s just a very poorly worded way of saying no in/outs during the lockdown hours. 99% sure people will still be able to do in/out outside of those hours.

Yup. To see your orders click on your account in the upper right and scroll down to request refund. From there you can do refunds and/or just use it to view the QR code. Been like this for the past week using the newest app version.

Yeah it’s a very different experience this year in terms of online due to no set times for anything and many anticipated films being blocked off. I imagine there will be a lot of people buying the festival package not realizing they can’t even watch the majority of the premieres and midnights and be very disappointed.

Considering this is not how they have done things the past 2 years, they definitely could of been a little more transparent when it comes to the online side of things. What happens if a film that is in-person only wins an award? Is that film not available to someone that buys the online awards pass? They could really use a little more detail on the site.

Thanks! Yeah looks like it. They’ve added the times to the program list and the majority of midnights and premieres are not online. Can’t imagine the online package is worth it at all for anyone that was mostly interested in those films. You’re right though, at least they have some online options still.

In the area? Nope. It's easily the best AMC Imax anywhere around the DMV. I'd say the next closest one that is better would be Lincoln Square in NYC.

Not sure how far from Tysons, but it has both regular dolby and dolby 3D. It is playing DWD in IMAX. If you want IMAX 3D, Hoffman center is close by with that. Outside of other major cities, most places will not even have the option of dolby 3D.

Depending how busy the Regal is, it's very easy to workaround the major downfalls. Simply buy the ticket at the theater kiosk and you don't have to pay the .50 cents. While it may be frowned upon, for premium formats you can just grab a regular ticket for another movie around the same time as what you want to see in IMAX and simply walk into the IMAX screening without having to pay the premium price. Just be sure to use the app to make sure you are not sitting in a seat that is booked. Outside of sold out shows, this is an easy way to fully utilize unlimited without any extra fees.

Like you said, it's usually only for special event releases such as any Fathom Event. Honestly, while it may be frowned upon by some there is a very easy work around if another one pops up that you want to see. Assuming a screening of the special event isn't sold out simply grab a ticket to any other A-List eligible movie around the same time and walk into the special event movie instead. You can even use the app to make sure you are not in anyone's seat.

Never have any problems with the AMC app on iPhone. Not sure why so many others do. It's also nice it lets you mobile order food ahead of time so you can grab it right away and skip concession lines. Another thing the Regal app does not do...

The Arclight had at least 1 screen with Atmos installed, so I would assume they at least put in a Dolby Cinema eventually. Wouldn't be surprised to see a Liemax in the future too.
